I want to see guys diving for loose balls..box out, jump higher and grab rebounds with two hands.. no tippy toes and tipping rebounds.. making the "little plays".. from the tip-off. someone has to set the example.. if Kobe has to take on his Olympics role, he needs to do that.

that's exactly why i am not positive about this game

this is the first time these guys will face elimination since 2008 finals. i think they will fail under the pressure.

kobe and fish will be fine, bynum probably too. gasol is more and more looking like odom, artest is useless on offense, the bench is nonexistent, the coaching staff clueless etc.

Boston 6th man (in black and white) has made the difference in this series. Free throws in game 5 was also a huge set back. Home court should give some of the guys who have been lackluster in bean town a push to redeem themselves. 2 at home...I'll take that given how we have played at home all playoffs....

My favorite line from the announcer was last night by Van Gundy when Paul Pierce flopped on that sideline play at the end of the game and he said...Paul Pierce taking a page from Derrick Fisher on that and flopping....ummm Paul Pierce has been selling foul calls forever...how about the wheel chair incident....nothing???....throw me a bone here...hahahah

I have a sick sinking feeling in my gut this game won't end well for us. I hope I am wrong though...

Hey it's alright, he already checked out after Game 2. Of course if we win he'll be here to soak in the victory he gave up on long ago.

I expect them to come out strong and try to do what they did in game 6 of 2008 and that is just blow us out and win their second title. However I think that it will be a close game at half time something like Lakers 48 Celtics 43. And then in the 3rd quarter we go on a big run put up something like 30 in the quarter and end the game winning something like 102 88.

Either way JUST WIN. I don't know if I can handle watching the Celtics win another championship...much less on our floor.

WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE!

Hate that the game is tomorrow. Wish it was today so we can get it over with.

So much at stake here. If we can just win this one I'll take a game 7 at home with guys like Kobe and Fisher.

I'm no fairweather fan. Lakers win game 6 & 7. We must believe. I can't stand losing to the Celtics again. I just can't do it.

Now all I can hope for is that the Lakers defend Staples. I know benches don't travel, I didn't know Gasoft, Artest, and LO don't travel either.

Gotta play with passion and effort. Don't expect the ball to come to you...GO AFTER IT! Play like Boston did in Games 4 and 5....play with desperation!! Every single one of the Lakers needs to drive the ball to the hoop...force the officials to make the call. I think Kobe and Fish are going to set the tone. Pau plays better at home...let's hope he can back up his words about being the aggressor.

Continue to clog the middle on D, but when Pierce bumps out a bit for a 17 foot jumper, have someone in his mug.

Their offense is pretty much the same every game.

First read is Rondo coast 2 coast, second look is a pass to a big man in the paint and the last read is a 3 pointer or an outside jumper.

Also, when Rondo lowers his shoulder he almost always charges for a layup.

I hope Boston Celtics team felt that. That quake was for them and also to wake Lakers players up! Maybe we need more small ones to freak Celtics.

I hope Phil has a short leash on everybody tomorrow. If one player is not hustling for a loose ball or makes a really careless pass....yank him.

It's time to get those jerseys dirty, boys. It's OK... that icky sweat and those unsightly wrinkles will get taken care of at the dry cleaners. You CAN dive on the floor and mix it up... really. Even though the camera's are flashing, and the pretty ladies are smiling at you from their $10k seats... there is NO excuse for NOT getting after it and diving for loose balls and laying it all on the line. I do NOT want to see the casual "what me worry?" Lakers attitude... They better hustle for every loose ball.. get after every play and show some ferocity!

If the Hollywood Lakers show up instead of the Los Angeles /714/323/626/213/818/310/562/etc Lakers, the fans have every right to boo the team out of their building....

Which of these Lakers can look back at the past 5 games so far and HONESTLY say they gave everything they could for their team??? Answer = All but one or 2 maybe?

I'd like to see one of the Laker defenders after Pierce does one of his patented flops on a non-touch - do the same thing by mimicking his flop to the floor but accentuate the hell out of it to make fun of Pierce - or at least gesture to Pierce to get up ...
