All the Lakers just have to play physical. Like game 6. Lamar needs to explode. The bench has to show up like in game 6. and the crowd. We need the same kind of crowd as in game 6 and like the one in game 7 of the 2000 west finals. Anybody remember versus portland? The crowd helped the lakers rally back from a 15 point deficit. LET'S GET IT!!!
I just hope the Lakers are ready to react and adjust tomorrow when Doc pulls out his gimmick lineups. I hope the Lakers don't get complacent with Perkins gone and actually attack the Celtics big men. _________________ The road back to the top...
The Lakers might not understand or want to admit it now, but they will understand years from now, when they're reminiscing about these games or sharing their moments with past Lakers greats who have been a part of this rivalry, that Thursday night is a singular moment, a memory that rises above all others.
This game will not be easy boston will not lay down, play hard, play with heart, contest everything on defense and rebound rebound rebound. This is it winning time, BRING THIS ONE HOME!!!!!!! _________________ 11/9/12 the day the brown was flushed down!!!!!!
60 minutes basketball--blood, sweat, and bringing down the hammer!
The season is 0-0, only 1 win for all the salsa dancing with latina hotties, strawberry-banana daiquris, and El Bucanero de Baja California fish tacos in Cancun!

i dont' have much time, so just wanted to make a small stratigical suggestion - if sheed starts, we need to start odom.
odom is clearly the better match up against sheed (which is why he enters the game every time sheed does), but even more important, this will allow us to get much more EFFECTIVE minutes from bynum.
i don't believe that phil will actually do this, but that's defenetly what i'd do assuming sheed is the starter.
i don't want bynum guarding him or garnett to start the game.
much rather have bynum in the game when big baby is in.

I wouldn't do that. I'd switch Pau and Bynum on defense. That leaves Bynum on Garnett, which is a matchup Garnett wasn't getting along well with. Pau on Wallace which is ok.
But our advantage is on offense then. Bynum has always been better in the first couple of minutes of the game.
Now that he has either Wallace or Garnett on him we can pound it inside to both Pau and Bynum and get their bigs in foul trouble. Then when Davis comes in we send in Odom who is faster and more athletic than Bynum. That way if the Celtd¡cks put in Davis and Wallace(both relatively quick and floor stretchers) we have the defenders on them that fit.
