Blazers 2-5 against this crew? I guess they rig it against them more often then not. We got this. |
It's not the "crew". This stat is when these "individual" refs combined do there games this year. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Oh, my mistake. I like these odds though. _________________

Chuck Person talks about Andrew Bynum's suspension & breaks down the Blazers in today's shootaround preview: http://on.nba.com/fnV2Kb _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

I don't feel very confident about this game without Andrew. Our team has been so dependent on Andrew anchoring the defense since all star break. Also Kobe is not 100% and will have a tough match up with Wes Matthews Jr. The one positive is Portland played last night and may be fatigued. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Let's see: Lakers are missing their starting C and facing a possible 1st round playoff opponent. I expect the Lakers to come out firing on all cylinders and remove any doubt about the outcome by halftime, especially since the Blazers will be on the second night of a B2B after a hard-fought game against the 76ers. |

I've learned over the years to never underestimate the Lakers (especially Kobe) when the odds are against them. |

jerry is about to cash in on one his best player investments tonight: lamar odom.
when you have a team as talented as the lakers, you can absorb a two game suspension.
that said, you never want a starter to miss a game to suspension or injury, it throws off the team's rhythm. _________________ "i was born down in the valley where the sun refused to shine, but i'm climbin' up to the highlands, goin' to make that mountain mine" ~ Lakers, 2011 |

We destroyed this team without Bynum at home earlier this season. Don't expect this game to be any different. |

With all this rain today, Portland might just feel like they are home and make it a good game. _________________ Lakers. Built different. |

Without AD and Kobe ankle and neck, it would seem to favor Portland. Artest need to score at least 12 and play good defense. Odom and Paul need to protect the middle and both offenive and enfisive boards. They both need to have a double-double. Kobe just not worry about socoring but hand out assists. The Killer Bs need to be productive again.
Will the Lakers wind it depends on their defense and how bad they want the win. _________________ Win or lose, for better or worse, always a Laker fan. |
