I'm not expecting a win tonight. A team without Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, and Pau Gasol -- the big 3 -- isn't going to win against a Warriors team.
However, what I am looking at is how this team plays together. Will it look disjointed like last season? How is their defense? I don't know if people realize just how long / lanky Nick Young, Xavier Henry, and Wesley Johnson are.
Tomorrow is going to be a better indication of what this team will look like when Pau and Nash plays. |

It'll be a blowout.
But I'm happy to watch the Lakers again. |

No Pau, no Nash, and we'll have the bottom camp fodder layer of the roster making their cameo appearances to close the game and determine the final margin for us. Not exactly what you'd want if covering that -8 spread is important for some reason.
I'm looking forward to seeing what Johnson, Williams, Harris, Landry, Henry, Swag and maybe even DJO have to offer. Just enjoy the highlights! |

Lakers 136 - Warriors 120 |
Nick Young would have to go for 50. |

I am most excited to see Farmar play tonight.
He should see a lot of time with Nash out and will thrive playing in D'Antoni's system.
I'm also interested to see how his defense has improved after playing overseas. |

I'm interested in how well Farmar defends after his experience overseas as well. The wild card for Farmar tonight is the lack of experienced players on the floor with him. If can keep the offense organized I'll be impressed. |

I predict that the team will play a run and chuck shots type of game, and that everyone of us will be pissed saying that we played poorly. Hope i'm wrong though. But one thing that i think is certain is that we still dont have great athletes that shoot great consistently to play a run n gun style. We're not the warriors, the nuggets nor the rockets. |

I hope that you know...D'Antoni and Mitch know that the way to play is the 2013 Spurs way and not the 2005 Suns one. Mainly because we don't have the players to do that. But i'm expecting a run n gun team today, cause the old guys aren't going to play. Let's see how it goes, pre season is good to test some different strategies and rotations. |
