Mitchell is overrated as (bleep). He plays no defense and is a total black hole on offense. Dude fails in the playoffs as well.
Give me Garland over Mitchell 10/10 times. _________________ Lakers Offseason Goal:
- Draft Zach Edey (or Kel'el Ware)
- Sign Jonas Valanciunas or Nicolas Claxton
- sign and trade DLO to not lose value
- sign a coach that’s not an idiot
Call it an offseason |

Absolutely ridiculous take. Spida is one of the top defenders in the league. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

You guys are both kind of right. He does get tunnel vision as a pick and roll ball handler. But he also can carry a team to wins with his scoring when he's rolling.
His defense is bad far too often and is 6'1" without shoes. So is undersized as a 2 guard. But with his athleticism and 6'10" wingspan. He has been a good defender when he's motivated.
He's put up bonkers stats in the playoffs pretty consistently. But with the way things ended in Utah and how things are going in CLE. He doesn't appear to be a good leader.
We'll see what happens this playoffs.
Mitchell would be the closest thing to Kyrie, Bron has had since CLE. He wouldn't have to guard SGs or be the leader here.
But if DLO keeps balling. And we keep winning. All the way to a chip. Changing things up and trading for Mitchell would make no sense. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |
