This is why I don't like to go off the rumor-mill, I like to wait until things are more substantiated but even at that - I waited until Shams who is generally a good source but they never really confirmed definitively, they always said "expected" to return ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We could actually use Gabe, he needs to get back on the court asap. It's beginning to resemble the K.Nunn debacle.
As far as JHS goes, he needs reps too, preferably starting in the G-League.
But even in South Bay he won't be nearly the best player on the team; however w/ his salary, he has to get copious amounts of playing time.
Hopefully that speeds along his development. |

VANDO POST GAME
Per Post Game Interview
Says that his heel felt OK (he was asked what happened during the game and Vando said it got hit but his heel feels OK)
He says that his conditioning and injury management is still a process and he still working through it.
TDRock perception – he didn't seem to be in a very good mood.

Jarred Vanderbilt played 14 minutes against the Knicks, his seventh game since returning from a left heel injury on Dec. 2nd. He told reporters he is still working through the injury but wanted to push to come back “because we have a chance … I consider us being a contender.”

I just saw that part of his post game interview and he said he landed kind of on his back and his hip and his wrist. He was mostly concerned about his wrist but x-rays came up negative so he'll be OK.
