Actually i think they can. Ham can’t motivate them so they don’t care unless something is on the line.

That’s all we can hope for.

I don’t think they will fire Ham this season

I've been saying the problem with this team starts with coaching. No matter who you get, it doesn't matter if Ham doesn't know how to use them.

Tonight his defensive scheme of leaving people open doesn't work. He's trying to be Budenhozer without knowing how to make any adjustments when a team is hitting threes.

lakers were disinterested

if this was game 1 of the playoffs the Lakers would blow this team out of the water

Nah that was lightning in a bottle. We played above our heads for a couple of months.

Teams in the West also have gotten alot better. Clippers, Timberwolves, Kings, ......and Suns who have figured things out and are on fire right now. We cant advance with this lineup

I am sick of when this team gets disengaged.
Lebron slows down, they all slow down.

We don't need a coach that fires guys up. We need a coach that understands a 5 out offense isn't the offense to run with this team, and that leaving other teams wide open from three isn't a sound defensive strategy.

It all started when we started doubling beyond the 3pt line, genius.

This nets team is basically chucking from the 3, so they will lose a lot, but if they got hot… it is not fun

The refs already did their job to ensure a Nets win. They'll start calling obvious fouls now.

I don’t think he could challenge that

Got to throw the red flag

Not a reviewable play(I think)

Was a joke. Lol. Ham would throw a flag though

And Prince is one of the worst at doing that, maybe that's why Ham loves him so much.

Nets are really really getting lucky tho- they are hitting everything and we are missing bunny layups.

Start off the game running great sets, then just go into freelance mode after that. Results speak for themselves.

I know coaches give generic answers on those quick quarter starting interviews, but he looked genuinely confused on how they let the Nets put up 38.

And the nets have exactly ZERO players that needs to be doubled

Its primarily the three. Outside of not defending the three we're fine defensively. We defend the inside well, and do it without fouling.

The problem is Ham is copying Budenhozer's strategy of "collapse on every drive" which leaves three point shooters wide open every game. It isn't necessary when you have AD as the last line of defense and the Lakers defense would be tremendously improved even more if they stayed home. But Ham doesn't preach that.
