This quote made me smile. Not because we are beating the Clips, but the fact that the players only meeting is causing the fellas to be accountable - even in preseason. Good to see!

Jumper is still a little shaky, but heck, with that athleticism, if he can hit jumpers, dude would be an All-Star.

ESPN Box score has Baron Davis and Rasual Butler down for 60 minutes each, and Blake Griffin at 58. http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=291018013

says a lot to me about a player (shanon) who can have a terrible game yesterday and come out and excel the next night out. thats good mental toughness.

So much for the +/- stat: Sasha is LEADING ALL PLAYERS IN THE GAME with a +/- of +15 MORE THAN DOUBLE THAT OF ANY OTHER PLAYER!!!

game leading +15 better than twice any other player is obviously a reflection of the other players on the floor with him...

Sort of places little importance for this stat for any one game...

Did Sasha make anything other than technical ft's.

I like how the Farmar/Brown lead unit out played the Baron/Gordon unit in the 4th quarter. Out played badly, too.

I like Gaffney as a practice and D-league player.

Trade Morrison's contract before the next pre-season game. Sell high!

Laker bench clearly outplayed the Laker starters tonight...

Starters: 18-51, 35% shooting, 55 points
Bench: 21-36, 58% shooting, 59 points

Great game from Brown, shaky one from Kobe, though. Our bench beat the Clippers with their starters in late in the game.

That was kind of the trend two years ago with supposedly our deep bench saving the starters. However, they became inconsistent in the second half.
