You do know that when Bob Short first moved the Lakers from Minneapolis to Los Angeles, he seriously considered changing the name of the team from the Lakers to the Oceaneers, right? |

If you think the fan base is annoying, it was probably a bad idea to join a Lakers forum. Nobody is forcing you to stay here. And who says that we aren't't over the fact that Dwight is gone? We understand that. Doesn't mean we aren't allowed to hate him regardless. Our team is old next year, but the year after that there's basically nobody under contracts so that's a terrible argument btw. |

| That dude ain't even a real fan from what I see..our team going no where? that is pure bs..if Dwight came back this season we'd be a serious title contender if healthy especially after adding an underrated scorer like Young to our team. Even without Dwight were a solid team right now..and can be contenders with another small addition someone like LO in the frontcourt. And after this season all that capspace..how can anyone say we're going no where? the Lakers always go somewhere and that's up. Dwight is rightfully hated by us now and other fans like ORL. |
