Definitely expect the Rox to play a monster of a game....I'm hoping the trend we saw with the Blazers (improving our play against our opponent each game) continues. |

LBJ needs to do the same! |
The blood is in the water. I expect that LBJ will go for the kill. |

Quote: | Heading into this series, the Rockets had not lost a game in 2019-20 when they shot at least 40% from 3-point range.
They have now lost back-to-back games when shooting 40% or better from beyond the arc in this series. per NBA.com

I obviously want the Lakers to get this...but I'm sticking to my belief that we can't win this series playing small ball...I hope I'm wrong. But to me we're playing into their hands. I've mentioned before this team is very similar to the Suns team coached by D'Antoni, with Nash, Stoudemire, Richardson, Marion etc. Jax insisted that team match up with our bigs, Bynum, Odom and Gasol. We destroyed them. I remember Nash saying, "We're not getting any taller." I would punish these Rockets with Dwight, AD and Bron inside...the Rockets will always shoot 3's regardless...just make sure we're discipline when closing out on the shooters, don't jump or over run them..just close out with a hand up. But really punish them inside with our bigs. That would be my strategy. I could be 100% wrong..but I still don't think this series is over and trying to play small ball with a team that has done it all year is a mistake IMO. |

If we win tonight it's almost over. We must not lose this chance considering that the Clippers seem to be finishing it in the next game |

If it’s not Harden, I’m thinking it’s someone that’s more important than House. So if I was Houston, I would STFU and hope the NBA covers it up. They are probably doing the Rockets a favor by just having House and Chandler as the names publicly. |

DEFENSE LAKERS, DEFENSE!
Harden/Westbrook and the Rockets are going to come out very aggressive today. The Lakers must match that effort by turning up the defensive intensity from start to finish.
Lakers have to play solid, smart perimeter team defense and rebound the ball. We can wear them down; their bench is not deep. |

You would think House was a 7X NBA All Star when you see some of the other fans' comments. Well, we didn't have our starting point guard throughout this entire bubble, so maybe stfu. |

as long as the game is close i have faith in Lakers to pull it off at the end, because choking is in Harden and Westbrook's DNA |

Like I've said, easy 4-1 victory just like the first series. Bring on the unwanted half brother!!
Sometimes, the NBA can be so predictable because of the 7-game series (better team wins). Imagine if it was a one-game playoff like the NFL, Clippers, Lakers and Bucks would have been eliminated in the first round. lol _________________ #SellTheLakers |

Nah. We just think role players can be impactful, like Rondo has been for example. And that it shouldn’t take multiple days for the league to reach a conclusion.
Looks like he’s out tonight too. If he broke rules handle up and move on. It shouldn’t take this long to investigate. |

I wish I was as confident as you lol. The 3 point discrepancy and 3 for 2 game just scares me.
Thankfully so far we have ridden playoff Rondo to a 2-1 series lead. We know LBJ and AD will do what they do... |

Gordon is the barometer for the Rockets. when he plays well usually they win. let Harden get his (via FGs, not cheap FTs), and let Westbrook get his points on iso plays, but don't let Gordon go off. |

Imagine attributing the losses to missing a role-player, who is basically a non-factor AND is a worse player than the player the other team has been missing since the start of the bubble. As if LeBron is thinking before he sleeps, "thank goodness i don't have to face House tomorrow!" |

I am watching the pregame show on Spectrum and that was the most hilariously awkward conversation about Danuel House. |

I get their thinking though. D'antoni runs a very tight rotation. Those 20+ minutes House plays now have to be absorbed by guys that are already playing 38+ a night. That's a lot to ask for. It'd be like us complaining about Morris being out. Is it the end of the world? No. Is he nonetheless a key part of our rotation? yeah |

Houston has one of the most paranoid and delusional fan bases. The tweets are insane.
Like Lebron James, who takes on Kawhi and Giannis, cares about an off the bench rotation player?
If it was Harden ok, but does LBJ even know who Danuel House is? He wouldn’t even know that his name is not spelled Daniel. |
As the Warrior (Ex Laker) fans said, it's always an excuse with Houston |

This. Not that complex
Not like y’all didn’t just have a role player make a difference just last game. If all hands can’t be on deck reach a conclusion and move on. If he broke a rule handle up on him and move on. Having him miss games while you investigate is hogwash. If you conclude he ain’t mess up then those games can’t be had back. Etc. It’s just poor handling all around. |
