Well we will know from minutes manipulation.
Teams striving for certain outcomes will simply take out the performing players. Just go ask Rockets fans how many times Sengun has been benched in 4th quarters…although I don’t think they have done it as much since relinquishing the top spot to Detroit 
Edit: ZERO excuses tonight. Lebron and AD playing AND no b2b situation so the supporting cast should have more energy than last game vs. Houston.

I highly doubt Ham is really targeting any specific team especially just casually saying it to the media like that. They want the 6th because it fully avoids any of the play-in bs on top of not having to play a top 2 seed AFTER winning 1-2 do or die games.
If the Lakers can't beat the Kings in the 1st they weren't going to do much anyways but it's still clearly one of the best matchups we can hope for in the first round.
The Suns matchup was FAR from them embarrassing us as well.. We were up 2-1 with a hobbled AD and Bron and still looking like the better team imo but then once AD went down for good with the groing in the following game the Series was over.. Same thing would happen in any of the years since we got Bron and AD.. If either of them go down in the Playoffs against a tough matchup, it's over. Kind of like if the Suns lost Booker or CP3 that series, we likely blow them tf as well in the following games. The whole injury thing is still clearly a big concern but as long as our big guns are still playing I like our chances against anyone in the West, especially the Kings as solid as they are. |

That's a given and should be taken seriously. The Lakers have a target on their backs. We have to beat the Rockets and the Jazz. We still have to play the Sail Boat Crew and the Suns and those are 2 of the best in the West.

At first, I was conflicted about AR starting. I thought the weight of starting would be a bit much for him. It hasn't been. Schro is playing lights out coming off the bench. Hams rotations have improved. It looks like he's down to 8.
