The Lakers respond to whomever is the leader out there.

Some players have a better leadership style that inspires energy than... others.

The statement Bron made also holds up

“We can beat any team on any night and we can get our ass kicked any night”

That WE probably included Himself, AD, and Vando
We performed way over our heads tonight

Celtics didn’t come with the focus tonight thinking they had this in the bag.

The entire lakers team played like “Lebron ain’t trading me f that”

Haha it’s only one game but the team played free knowing they were expected to lose.

In my opinion, I don’t want to break up Russell and Reaves.
They played great.

Just play hard. Results are tough when you don’t have two all world players. But if they play hard, they can compete against any team, even without those cats. Then it’s all about who’s hot.

Really need Vando back. He completely sparked us on defense and his energy infected everyone and then we were rolling. Didn’t even “need” him once he juiced us. Harder if he gets 0 minutes

Prince helped on the glass tonight which he never does and that was huge because 8 rebounds is 2 weeks of work sometimes for him.

Hayes was excellent in terms of effort

Reaves and Dlo did their job and they spread the floor. They took 18 threes and sometimes the team doesn’t take that many. They need to shoot that many with Bron and AD to spread the floor

Rui got minutes for one and produced like always. He even bodied Porzingis out the paint all second half

Vando was the early mvp though and I hope he’s okay

I’d be tempted to sit Lebron/AD again and see if this group can scrap out another win.

This had nothing to do with the Celtics and everything to do with our effort and team work.

Also don’t go out in NY and party either. Boston isn’t a party city and it’s really not a city for any laker that doesn’t look like Reaves. But the last two party cities they no showed. Don’t let NY distract you, do your job, and go beat them without Randle

Tatum 23 on 20 shots. Sounds about right.

What I find interesting is Brown is the highest investment but they know he cannot dribble to run the offense

It's a talent driven league. If you don't max him, then you lose him for nothing.

We better be praying they max Tatum next season. They will be mediocre as long as Brown and Tatum take up 60%+ of the cap.

I could see Tatum want to reunite with Ime in Houston
