Really???? Come on you think Bron and Davis are scared of the Celtics??? If this was their mentality for one, Bron would have easily quit Game 4 vs Denver but the dude came out swinging. Usually a full-on revolt sounds more like a conspiracy theory but it appears that things are so bad that this is actually a scenario worth considering.

Is he wrong though? If this was the IST trophy game, I bet you so much Bron and AD would not only suit up but drop 40. The fact of the matter is both of them don't want to get embarrassed on national television, so they are punting this one. What the hell are the Lakers doing this game? Developing JHS? Upping DLO and AR's trade value?

I don't think Lebron and AD are as healthy as you guys may think.

If you watched the past month (to state what majority of LG including myself have been on Darvin's case for not starting Vando over TP) they have been taking a beating playing alongside three guards.

Huge difference when you got a 6'9 Vando flying around helping AD and Lebron fight for every rebound and help protect the paint compared to Taurean (who is more of a shooting guard than a 3) playing more on the perimeter shooting threes.

Rui and Wood getting lost in the sauce is a big problem too. Doesn't take rocket science to see when these three get more minutes it unlocks AD and Lebron to another level

I feel like we know they aren't anywhere near 100%, particularly A.D. But I feel like they've been playing through it and making a point to play through it. So now all of a sudden not playing through it against the Celtics is…

Complicated.

It makes it seem like a revolt is actually happening, in which case, for the first time I want the Lakers to get blown the (bleep) out by the Celtics showing little effort by 40 points. A strategic move to hasten the demise of Hamster as our coach.

lol.
He seems to sit during scheduled losses. Thats not imaginary. Like Jorge Sedano said the other night. Bron controls when he plays.

Bron has never been happy with teammates or coaches. Thats not the surprise. The fact that he is sitting against the Celts but probably wont sit against the Knicks will be the joke. There is no amount of rest that will save him for the playoffs. This game is as much for the fans as it is for the standings. You kind of expect AD to be soft in these moments but Lakers Foston is what this league was built on and representing the lakers should be all that matters. But i get it. its everyone elses fault.

And so it begins...

Maybe Jeanie has lost her mind because I'm sure she loathes the Celtics. She would want Bron and AD to play even if they were on crutches. I think Ham is done.

Scheduled loss.
Too bad the NBA does not allow forfeits in advance.

It could also be passive/aggressive Lebron trying to get Ham out the door.
He's forced out coaches with better records than this in mid-season.

Max Christie warming up ahead of tonight’s matchup. (This is usually the time Anthony Davis is on the floor warming up as well.)

Something is amiss here. This is the hated green vomit. Kobe or West would have to lose a limb before bowing out of this game.

Heartbreaking knowing your two best players are unavailable heading into a game with your rival.
Float On.
Hoping DLO, Austin, Rui, and Vando go off and we find a way to keep it competitive.

It’s not out of the norm for us Lakers fans to assume Rob and Jeanie will continue playing it too cool for school.

you cant put those expectations on these guys. Its different. Thats why mentioning guys playing today with Kobe & MJ is unfair. Those two guys in particular, regardless of where they were in their careers, especially in todays league where defenses are soft and scoring is easy would be playing and would be challenging their teammates. Especially Kobe v Celtics. reg season or not.

AD and Bron left those guys to dry. They are sitting ducks out there. If one of your superstars can't bother to show up, why should they?

Darvin Ham said LeBron James and Anthony Davis went through shootaround and the team determined afterward that they’d be out tonight.

lets get it. Muck up the game and hope the celts do what they can do. Get over zealous and choke.
