What's the same between this game and Denver?
On the road...
a royal fix job. |
Denver is turning out to be the new Utah .. funny because of their roster ... meaning, it's not as squeaky clean as Utah's (if you read between the lines).
Only Denver is significantly more talented and athletic than the Jazz. |

Most of those threes game at the end in an attempt to cut the 10 + point deficit...

Kobe gets as many passes as it takes til he leads the Lakers to glory yet again. Give it up haters ... nobody is perfect and certainly, a man playing with a broken finger and the flu gets a pass ESPECIALLY when it's one of the GOAT's. |

Seriously, Kobe was NOT forcing shots for 3 quarters. He was simply taking what the defense gave him. Gasol will NOT force shots on double teams and that is what he was facing tonight and the Jazz were giving Kobe the open long perimeter shot knowing he wasn't well. Defensively, he was barely there. I agree on that. But, Farmar, Brown and Sasha are not any better. |

anyone who beileves that game wasn't set in stone before it even started hasn't watched nba games for very long. I've been watching for 20+ years and I know exactly how they run these kinds of games.
Anyway, it bothers me less that it was rigged. If we had lost because they were better that would be worse. |

It all started when the refs called Bynum for a moving screen, on a basic high screen/roll play. 3-second calls were icing.

I appreciate his fight and his winning mentality. What I fail to appreciate is that he always has to act as the saviour. Tonight the shots were not going in and still he was jacking them left and right . Also his defense was non existent. He shouldn't had played at all. The team should always be more important than the individuals, but explaining that concept to most Americans is pretty hard. |

I love the Lakers. Forever, even if the league sucks nuts. Only way the Lakers can be beat is injuries and piece of filth officiating on back to back games in the frozen hells of Utah, Denver and Portland. |

Yes ... no excuse for that.
Tend to think is not well physically. I noticed him running stiff last game.
He needs to bear down because this team has enough firepower ... he'll make his biggest (and most noticed) impact by dominating the pain. |

What a condescending response. Us Americans understand the game just fine.
He was not jacking them up left and right until it was NEEDED. Go rewatch the game if you still do not get why he had to take those shots.
How many times did Pau get the ball only to pass it out to the perimeter players? No one was stopping him from getting more attempts except himself.
The TEAM is what is most important, and that is why the LEADER of the team was out there giving it his all. They lost, big deal! It is only one game. Pathetic that fans are so quick to jump on someone like Kobe, and even more pathetic when everyone jumps on the team after only one loss... |
