too bad it will be jennings vs fisher and with fisher watching a pg blow by him _________________ Kobe "I mean Phil's been here, and -- to be honest with you -- we might have, in all the years I've been with Phil, (had) maybe three defensive drills the entire time"
i really hope they don't sleep on the bucks. they play very very hard and will definitely bring effort and hustle, especially with the defending champs in town.
scrappy team - i expect a close game. _________________ "I wish I could draw a picture of the look on their faces..... For a time, it was like he was on the court by himself. It's like God put Kobe here for us to watch him play basketball." - LO On KB8's Performance Against the Clips 07/01/06

I hope Sasha plays a little. Why ? I like his hustle on D. He's not THAT bad people. Anyway, it's going to be a tough game. Bucks are a athletic up and coming team. We need to be ready. _________________

This team is scrappy and plays hard. Lakers always get out worked by those type of teams, so this will be a close game, especially on a B2B.
Jennings is going to have a field day on Fisher and our suspect Pick 'n Roll defense. Get ready for a lot of easy dunks and layups from this Bucks team.
The Lakers are going to have to play better as a team than they did against the Bulls....
They cannot count on 42 from Kobe,he will get his 30 or so,but the other guys have to pick it some shooting wise.Plus board much better, and play tougher on defense throughout the game, not just for a half as they did against the Bulls....
The lakers will also have to match the Bucks energy.I think Bynum has to start getting back to where he was the first 15 or so games.Plus the lakers need to get the ball down into the post,be it Pau,Bynum and or Kobe.....
If I were Jennings, I will be prepared for the worst tomorrow ... Kobe has this nasty habit of "welcoming" rookies into the league (remember Dwight and the facial he received from Kobe in his rookie year?)
Just win. (in a pretty fashion) _________________ Phil Jackson (June 17th, 2009):"What was our model of this team? The Ring, the ring, that was the model. Is Redd back? That should screw with the Bucks, considering he's downright terrible. Also they'd better do a better job with defensive rebounding. We're 28th in the league in opponent ORPG. That needs to be adressed.
Shannon should be in the starting lineup, or Jennings will hurt us.
Hope we can use our frontcourt strenght against Ilyasova & Warrick, the Bucks´s PF. Gasol should go to 25-12 easily if he wants it. _________________ Portuguese Laker!

Going to the Clippers/Wolves game tonight ( I dont turn down free tickets lol). Most likely will be regularly checking the blackberry for the Lakers/Bucks score, and of course to read the comments from you guys.
Should be a win for the lakeshow, but it is the nba, Where Sh*t Happens.
Honestly I think Brandon Jennings has as much potential for greatness as Kobe which I wouldn't say about hardly anyone..he's got leadership, athleticism, and skills that will only improve as he plays more. Regardless, he will get taken to school tonight if he ends up on Kobe at some point in the game.
the bucks have had like 5 days rest... lets hope that translates to rustiness. _________________ "I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it." - Jack Handey

- Run the offense
- Play inside-out
- Feed the bigs
- No early J's
- Play with energy and understand that this is the biggest game of the year for the Bucks.
Oh yeah, and...

I'm also looking forward to see Jennings play. In the one game of theirs that I saw, the Bucks used a Jennings/Ridnour backcourt a lot. I think we could see that tandem match up with the Farmar/Brown backcourt.
