Hopefully the Lakers can take care of the ball and give some defensive effort in this one. It's hard to watch sloppy play from such a talented team. The last couple weeks have been less than enjoyable. Hopefully the return of Artest (whenever that may be) and also Walton can give them a boost to get back on track.

hopefully we don't have tons of bogus fouls called on us like last time. i remember ron being called for a foul after passing the ball. mavs more than dobuled our freethrow attempts. but i understand the nba has to market teams to max profits.

i was unfortunately at the second game of the season the first this time this game took place.

as others have pointed out, this will be a hell of an interesting game andif the lakers come out flat the mavericks will kill them.
