Pau held Duncan more then in check tonight. To disregard his effort on the def end is pathetic. |
You are right, I forgot Pau.....I was propping him in this thread, he completely shut down Duncan and I think took some of Timmy's confidence away permanently. |
Pau played pretty good D but this is a testament to how much Duncan has declined. He is now like the 2004 Shaq. He struggles to bring it every game. |

I haven't felt this good about a Lakers victory in awhile . We finally win a game with convincing defense! The second half lock down D was just amazing to watch, especially from Artest. Great way to start this road trip, 1 down 4 more to go! |

No doubt he is a shell of his former self.
It wasn't that long ago when the Lakers could not stop him at all in the low post, but that is clearly not the case now.
Good to see the *purs on the decline, maybe they can intentionally tank another season now and luck into another franchise player. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Especially the last 3 qtrs, I thought the 1st qtr was a bit soft.
But the 2nd half especially was just lockdown. Artest wouldn't even let guys dribble near him, how many steals did he have? It seemed like a lot. |
5 steals. |
It was soft cause of Fish Lanny. Not coincidentally, Fish was yanked the moment Hill began to cool off.
Phil putting him in late in the fourth is more of what we need. Close out games/Victory cigar. |

Kobe needs to shoot more. Im tired of this facilitating crap. Lakers started to pull away as soon as PJ told Kobe to start being more aggressive. It was a good win but we ain't gonna shoot 10 for 20 from three every night. We needed a three point barrage to beat a 7 seeded Spurs team with no Parker. |

And with Kobe threw daggers after daggers into the Spurs' face.
And Artest broke down the Spurs.
KOBE, GASOL, ARTEST ARE BALLING, BABY!

Tied with second half vs. Denver at home when we kept them to 30% shooting for a half and 89% for the game while they were on a roll. |

If we bottle that 2nd half defense and do that for 16 games in playoffs, we will be repeating.
No doubt about it. Refs, Stern and their pre-determined paper champs Cavs cant do nothing about it. Very impressed by our defense. Had we made some shots we would have won easily by 30. Dont let the 9 pt difference fool ya, that was DOMINATION! _________________ Alltime lineup: Magic | Kobe | MJ | Hakeem | KAJ |

I am impressed with Gasol schooled the one of the best HOF PF Duncan.
And then Artest jumped in with Monster D.
Then Kobe took care the offense.
Sweet like cheesecake. |

WTF Phil, activate .
Y'know they bust Kobes balls with the "facilitator/activator" stuff. |
