they might lost to thunders purposly ....so OC can stay at 6th spop for the playoff .....yesterday game was hard to watch it because they look like lakers didn't even care...

I thougt about it. But there is no mistake in Thunder shooting the ball well from all cylinders.

Lemme break this down for you:

In the 2004 season, had the lakers given up that infamous Kobe 2 OT buzzer beaters over Portland they would have ended with a much easier 2nd round opponent and forced the Spurs to face the Timberwolves (the KG+Sprewell+Cassell Twolves) which would have resulted in a very depleted and tired Spurs V Lakers 3rd round.

When the Lakers went down 0-2 to the Spurs, many of the LA fan base was claiming Phil had lost his touch, etc etc. After that series the fan base was pretty amazed at the comeback minus the result in the finals.

Phil Jackson refused to throw the game and answered that he didn't believe in avoiding teams because a true championship team conquers all adversities.
