pau for mvp my @ss

Best laker on the field by far today. We forgot him, and that was our death.

Were you even watching the (bleep) game?

Best Laker on the field my ass.

21-11 on 80% on shooting. Kobe was being a chucker all night long. He took it over in the clutch doing pretty well, but the damage was already done. When you have a close game on the road you can lose. This should be a blowout and we forgot our best player in the entire second quarter.

So in your logic Pau was the best player tonight when he was totally lazy on defense and can't make a single shot while Kobe scored 14 straight and you totally ignored how (bleep) this guy played when it counts - down the stretch.

Disappointing loss. Props to Utah for not giving up after the 1st quarter.

On the bright side, none of the Lakers' 3 losses have been blowouts. Phoenix and Utah had to give their best effort just to barely beat the Lakers. And this is without Bynum.

Gasol was destroyed by Al Jefferson. His defense was horrible and he choked in the clutch again. lol @ MVP.

What stood out was the poor defense by the Lakers. The Jazz got a ton of very good looks in the second half and converted most of them. The Lakers couldn't convert on theirs and that's the game. Jazz 49% shooting, Lakers 41%.

I just dont understand how the shotclock situation can go unpunished. Its one thing if it happens once or twice but that was bull. Why did they let the utah fast break continue (on the steal/foul) when the shot clock was messing up.

Bench had a horrible game tonight. Aside from some steals and chargers, Lakers D was no where to be found. I know some credit must go the playmakers of utah, but damn lakers made it too easy for them.
Other than that kobe was unreal in that 4th quarter, too bad we lost the game.

The game was fairly close. But what stood out for me was the no show by the Killer B's. They typically put up 25 points a game, and they were held to 13 points tonight.

The X Factor the whole year will be the BENCH. When they play well, we're unbeatable. When they don't show up, we'll struggle and work too hard for a win.

The Killer Bs depend on Gasol being there. Gasol left the court with +17. When he came back it was +6.

A MVP plays the best down the stretch.

Pau was nowhere to be found in that 4th on both ends of the floor. But then again I guess he did enough work in the first 3 quarters amirite?

No way Pau was the best player tonight. Though the loss is NOT ON HIM. Our whole bench laid a huge egg tonight and noone other than Kobe can make a (bleep) 3.

On to Sunday vs Indiana.

Gasol wasn't destroyed by Jefferson. It was more Deron Williams made the Laker defense look silly and set up his teammates time and again for great looks. One on one Gasol owned Jefferson. The Laker TEAM defense was horrible.

That will likely continue to be the case until Bynum comes back.

Yep. His D has been awful all year. Can't wait until Bynum comes back--a true anchor.

That last 2 minutes. eh. Couldn't get a defensive rebound on 2 possessions, missed some shots, Kobe's turnover on the 2 man game. Almost had it just on Kobe's brilliance.

That's why it was imperative the Lakers get someone that can handle the backup C duties, even for just a couple of weeks. Gasol played 45 minutes tonight and all of these heavy minutes will wear him out.

Take your Kobe glasses off. It was D Will who assisted Jefferson for many of his baskets after easily beating the Lakers point guards.

Gasol again with the best + of all Lakers. He goes out and the team crumbles. That is why he plays more minutes than anyone else.

They really don't have an alternative right now. I can't even think of anyone that can help this team right now that's a FA atm.

Fisher had the most with +3 actually. That should tell you how GARBAGE that +/- stats is.
