Injury Report
•Steve Nash is dealing with a bruised calf injury he suffered in Friday's game against the
Pacers. He is expected to be ready for Sunday's game against the Kings.
•Kobe Bryant severely sprained his left ankle on March 13th after coming down on Atlanta's
Dahntay Jones' foot and is a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Kings.
•Pau Gasol suffered a partially torn plantar fascia on February 5th against the Nets and
is expected to be out of the lineup for at least six weeks. He suffered a setback on
March 16th and not likely to return Monday against the Suns.
•Jordan Hill will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn
labrum in his hip.

•The Kings blow out the Bulls on Wednesday 121-79. While Tyreke Evans also had an
excellent game of 26 points on 11-13 FG, 7 Assists, and 5 Rebounds.
•In the last meeting, Lakers was trailing by four with under three minutes to play, the Lakers
gave up six unanswered points to fall behind by 10, never got closer than nine the rest of the
way and were ultimately outscored 17-5 down the stretch in a 97-113 loss to the
Sacramento Kings at Sleep Train Arena. In addition to turning the ball over 20 times resulting
in 25 Sacramento points, the Kings outscored the Lakers 50-22 in the paint and 13-4 on
the break. Sacramento’s 40-point fourth quarter was the highest scoring quarter the Lakers
have surrendered to any opponent since giving up 40 to the Kings in the second quarter of
their meeting back on March 9, 2008.

Kings haven't played since Wednesday. 3 full days off of rest and practice. Last game they played they beat the Bulls by 42 points without Cousins.

^ yeah. And last time we met the Kings, Kobe was the reason why we were still in the game vs Kings. But Kobe is doubtful against the Kings.

I hope Lakers can pull another Pacers game against the Kings.

this wont be anywhere remotely close to an "easy game".. kings have been playing good lately.. blowing out a lot of teams by 20+ (mostly bottom feeders, but still) .. then against miami, san antonio, denver etc. they had close games...

far and away the best scoring team that's out of the playoffs, the positive though is that they can also give up a ton of points haha

the lakers should still win this one but without kobe or gasol i would be shocked if it wasn't in the least a very tough win...
