Love (pau + Nash)
Jarret jack
Nate Robinson
Devin Harris
And the mmle should get us at least one of these guys
OMG is that even possible. I love Love no pun intended. I just don't see it happening . Jack is to expensive we won't be able to sign him. IMO Love is the best PF but he is Hurt way to often. Bosh and Aldrige is a close 2nd and 3rd. Blake is great in the reg season is great but playoff time he will be exposed.
Getting Love this year would be me hitting the lottery Jack pot. Just so unlikely.
Maybe when his contract is up and we have cap space we would have a great chance.
I think jack is right there in that 3-4 million dollar range. There were rumors that love would want out of minny earlier this season and I think pau + Nash offer would be hard to beat.
Minnie doesnt need Nash they have Rubio, so that deal aint going to happen because it makes no sense for Minnie.
You play Nash off ball the same way they do ridnour
Nash has no value to teams that have a point guard, no one wants a 9 million a year spot up shooter that plays no defense. And I love Nash, but most GMs arent stupid.
Last year the lakers had gasol traded for cp3....I don't see them settling for dwill. If they trade gasol it will be for a star!
Wrong! We traded Lamar and Gasol for CP3. Name one STAR we could realistically get now for a broke down 2 year older Gasol.
Kevin love, monte Ellis, Danny granger are all stars....just not superstars like cp3
We are not getting KLove for Gasol. That is a ridiculous trade for Minnie. Granger is hurt, and hasnt proven he is healthy enough to trade for. As far as Ellis, do they want Pau? No they have a Center already.

All rumors, speculation should go in here. Personally this dude has shown he cannot be relied on as a 1, so were gonna have to get another star in here with him regardless. Gonna be interesting to say the least. _________________ 14 till 17

Who the hell would vote no? You DON'T want the best center in the league back? You want the Lakers to lose the best center in the league without getting anything in return?

It is pretty simple for Dwight if he wants the money he will resign if he wants to win he will choose Houston.
*Sorry but I don't think we will win anything with Jim Buss running the franchise.
Considering the tax situation, I don't think the money thing is that big of an issue. Houston would have him with a better shot to win. _________________ 14 till 17

This guy isn't a leader in the least imaginable way.
How can he even have the mindset that it's okay to get ejected in the 4th game of a sweep on his home court? I have seen enough from this guy.
1. No post game
2. Terrible leadership
3. Can't hit free throws
4. Incredibly low basketball intelligence
Paying this clown a max contract is the worst thing any NBA team could do. What a joke!
Get this loser off my team asap!!! _________________ “There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. A man must constantly exceed his level.” ―Bruce Lee
With the extra year we can offer i believe its really like 30mil and not the measly 3 mil people keep throwing around on here.. doubt he's gonna pass that up.
I'm okay with whatever decision he makes. As for the likelihood of him staying, I'm leaning toward "no." _________________ -Avenue of the Champions- -RIP Dr Buss- #824

We'll lose him for nothing, so yes I want him back. Though the thought of having this guy as a franchise player is a bit scary. I wonder if OKC would be willing to do a sign and trade for Westbrook + Ibaka? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
No because it means the Lakers can stay under the salary cap and play within the cap. This way they can go find talent within the budget and this will probably help the team better in the long run.

that means i probably will not sign until august or so. houston will wait. i tell f/o you put some pieces around me and kobe. fire dantoni and get a real defensive minded coach and i resign. hes been down this road, he is not going to just resign with a team who is showing they are going down the hill and not up. i cant wait to see if he helps out us laker fans. i think they are going to have to pay a large luxury tax whether they want to or not.
I don't see the Lakers allowing themselves to be held hostage by Dwight and doing whirlwind changes to appease him.
It's unlikely the Lakers would be able to revamp their roster by August given our cap situation anyway.
The more likely pitch is that the Lakers are a desirable location that have always committed to bringing in talent players. Besides, if Dwight decides to go to another team as a free agent, I don't see that he'll have some tailored-made situation as an alternative.
If I had to bet, my bet is both MDA and Dwight are here next year.
you know i love the lakers to but for you guys to think that all the players just want a chance to play for the lakers and other things dont matter...is crazy. kobe held the lakers as hostage when he wanted what he wanted twice. why doesnt howard get to do the same things. when you have the upper hand that is what you do....and i dont see another star sitting out there do you?
