Where is Mason Plumlee on the list? _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though."
And will be interesting to see who turns into a better player out of Archie Goodwin and Ledo _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though."

It's not that he isn't talented. I'm just not clear where he fits specifically for the team. Run jump athlete outathleticizing at the NCAA level, plus size. I feel the same about Zeller too. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Why so high on Rudy Gobert Mike?

Gobert has a surprising motor for a 7'1" player. While he may get pushed around a bit, he has a touch around the basket and good fundamentals defending. He can move his feet well defensively, and really doesn't have to jump high to finish. Outstanding standing reach. While he doesn't have the bulk just yet, it wouldn't surprise me if he had an Andris Biedrins-type role with an uptempo team. Not reliant on post game and halfcourt play, but quick, easy finishes around the hoop.
Ledo already has a solid jumpshot, both players have a solid handle and passing abilities. I have concerns about Goodwin's form and floor game, Ledo is a lottery talent, but I'm concerned with him off the court. Goodwin is more explosive. They're ball-handling SG types, either player would be a great pick. _________________ Resident Car Nut.
I'm an Arkansas fan, so I pretty much watched every game that BJ Young played in this year. His jump shot deteriorated badly from last year. He is not effective with that, but he is very good at driving the lane. He did make quite a few clutch plays for us this year, so there is that. He also has that tweener size, which makes him almost too small to play SG, but too big to be a PG. He's not that great of a defender, either. I think he could be a decent spark off the bench for someone offensively, all in all, probably a late 2nd rounder.

No such thing as too big of a PG. The physical tools are there. The J comes with time. It's up to him to listen the veterans and improve. _________________ Resident Car Nut.
Instead of trading Pauto get in the draft maybe there are other ways, I have a few ideas -
1. Steve Blake (expiring) for Gerald Green and 23rd pick (Nate Walters or Shane Larkin)
Why this would work is because Pacers are due to pay Paul George and Lance Stephenson money. Any way to get Green or Mahinmi off their hands would help. Plus the lost of Augustine they can use him and his veteran leadership.
2. 3 way deal-
Lakers get- Brandon Bass and 15th pick (Muhammed Shabazz or Dennis Shroeder)
Celtics get: Steve Blake and 26th pick
Wolves get: Jordan Hill
3. Jordan Hill and Steve Blake for Channing Frye, Shannon Brown, and 30th pick ( Nate Walters, Tony Snell, or Reggie Bullock)
If Frye can come off his injury and be that same player before his injury he could be huge for us. Plus his chemistry with Nash can help Nash get more comfy.
I like option #1. I say we do that deal and draft Ledo with the #23 pick. You said he is a Joe Johnson esque player.
Shot creating off the dribble. Yeah, Joe Johnson esque.
Mike, how is this kid's defense. I would not mind putting Kobe at the 3 and playing Ledo at the 2 if we find a way to get him or even putting Ledo at the 3.

Work in progress. Athletic tools are there. Discipline isn't. _________________ Resident Car Nut.
