I'd be ecstatic depending on where we end up drafting and of course how Harrison pans out at Kentucky. Just throwing it out as I'm looking at some mock drafts, and both have us getting Andrew Harrison:
http://www.nbadraft.net/2014mock_draft
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1828809-2014-nba-mock-draft-projecting-entire-first-round-before-2013-14-season-starts/page/13
A guy like that possibly not being a lottery pick shows how absurdly deep this year's class is, as I think Harrison is really good.
That draft.net has the Celts getting Wiggins for now - I pray that the C's don't get him, though they will no doubt contend for the worst record in basketball. |

Who knows. At this point last season Shabazz was going to be the top draft pick and everyone would have wanted him. Now he can't get off the TWolves bench. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

What's the point of comparing other draft classes to this one? I don't think anyone expected much from Shabazz anyways as it was a (bleep) draft class.
Yeah, some high picks have sucked but everyone knew Melo, Wade, LeBron were gonna be high picks and future stars, no one expected Shabazz to be LeBron. |

Boston might be better then expected. They are now 4-4 without Rondo. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Because rating a player after a college game or two is way premature. The whole draft is generally a crap shoot. And no one in this draft is a Lebron. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I actually hope Green continues to ball and they make the playoffs as a low seed - then go home after a sweep in the first round |

If you can land a top 10 spot in this draft, you have a good shot at picking up a stud player. Preferbly the higher the better, but this is nothing like last year's draft...or the few before that, there are some legit players in this draft. _________________ "It's just a job. Utah is likely gonna get the #1 pick this year. They are pathetic. The only winless team. Record is now 0-8. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Andrew Wiggins is as close to Lebron as you can get. There are multiple franchise players in this years draft. Sounds like you haven't paid attention to this draft class. |

I'm just going to say that the prospect of having a young potential star being groomed by Kobe is growing on me. |

true statement. fact.
i think Harrison has as much potential as anyone not named Randle; and probably Wiggins.
(i think Parker is a tweener//Harrison has more skill than M.Smart//Gordon has alot of potential)
theres probably a few allstars in this draft;;;but its way too early to say if theres any franchise players who can LEAD a team to a ring - its a very rare thing,Obvi. and we'll need to see their rookie years in the NBA.
i bet Randle will have the best college year tho

I actually am starting to lean more toward Julius Randle. I know it is just two games but he has been a monster! |

As an MSU fan, nothing would be better than seeing Gary Harris or Adreian Payne get drafted by the Lakers.
Harris is going to be a star this year. |

what about actually wait and watch them yourself in college..... | I saw him in that one game that featured all the youngsters in Portland. It was USA vs Foreign. He didn't impress me at all. |

You know the Lakers are most likely not selecting top 5, more like top 10... |

It's a lottery, there's no telling.
Otherwise, trade down and get Isaac Austin and Semaj Christon and get a stud FA.
The Lakers aren't "losing" the draft with those two guys. _________________ Resident Car Nut.
