The Hickory Hoosiers go on a 6-2 run with 45 seconds in the game but their comeback bid falls short as Andre Iguodala clanks a last second 3 from the left wing. Aside from the closing minute, the Miami Heatles dominate the fourth quarter to win a tight road game. The Heatles were led by Garnett's 21-11-5 night.

The Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stouts handle business at home defeating the Atlanta Dirty Birds. Michael Jordan had a big game with 30-8-8 to lead the way. Rick Barry also chipped in 24. Moses Malone had a monster game with 30 points and 20 boards but turnovers, assists, and rebounds all favored the Black Chocolate Stouts.

The Hickory Hoosiers use the same formula as the Blues did earlier in the night, putting it together and making a push in the 4th quarter to get the 115-105 road victory over the San Antonio Burrs. Elvin Hayes strong 20/12 double-double (plus the 6 blocks) is enough to earn him Player of the Game honors.
