Glad it's nothing serious.
Exactly, training staff probably didn't want to take a chance with the way the game was going but the haters were waiting on their chance once again. Hate on though.

Yeah the haters here have been pathetic. Dude is awesome on and off the court for us, and for some stupid reason, he gets the “every game under a microscope” treatment. He doesn’t deserve that.

If DLO, AD and LeBron could just stay healthy this team can do some damage. They will need all three playing.

it's interesting that he only missed 2 games for the wolves out of 56, so i am sure he can be healthy next season if everything is right.

D’Angelo Russell is listed as probable for tomorrow’s game at Utah, after missing the second half of last night’s win at Houston due to left foot soreness.

Anthony Davis is probable, and LeBron questionable.

Good to hear.

Saving him for the Clipps. I'm good with that. Lakers don't need him tonight.

Pretty much. Markkaen also being out has a lot to do with it.

He's fine. This is load management in a game where they most likely don't need him

Just a guess, but DLO probably out vs Clip so he can get 2 extra days rest before the Suns

So we deep enough a team to have him sit vs a western doormat that has Lauri & Kessler sitting, but not that deep to take on Collin & risk a potential trap game where we lose seeding & possibly a play-in berth entirely, so that’s why Bron & AD need to play… am I getting that right?

Asking for a sponsor…

What? It worked for AD…hoping it will work for DLo too

Darvin Ham says D’Angelo Russell will be held out for precautionary reasons with his sore left foot. Ham says Russell has dealt with the foot for more than a year and it was “bad timing” with the discomfort flaring up. Ham said the team would determine Russell’s status moving forward - as well as AD and LeBron’s - after the Jazz game for the second night of the back-to-back coming tomorrow against the Clippers.

What? A year long thing?

That’s insane. It certainly worries me long term how durable he is. Missing 42% of games is not gonna cut it for us.

I suspect the Lakers recognize the Clips game is almost winner-take-all on a playoff spot versus play-in. Fresh legs for that game, then we'll also have fresh legs for the Suns.

I could be wrong but I think it's load management.

He hasn’t been as durable since his time in Brooklyn. That has to be taken into consideration when evaluating his value and contributions (both of which are still high). He scored last time in free agency, coming off his best season and being in the right spot to leverage Minnesota’s interest and Golden St’s desire to hold the KD salary slot. This time around he is coming off being traded for a 35 year old guard (Conley) making $22m with a partial guarantee next year. Add the durability concerns and I’m not expecting an easy negotiation between Mintz and Pelinka.

I keep forgetting we're playing the paper clips tomorrow, so I expect DLO will have a miraculous recovery then.

Jesus we need this guy so badly. -8 in 13 min with Reaves off the floor, it's so obvious how much this team needs skilled guards. The offense just grinds to a halt
