One More Game. The final game of Kobe’s historic 20-year career -- that’s a lot of game threads and Kobe reaction in those 20 years.
We didn’t have much two-screen basketball watching back when we drafted Kobe. But I do remember posting on the old Usenet forums back then. The Lakers forums had a new buzz from signing Shaq and drafting Kobe. The reaction from people to his Summer League games were the first time we commented on his play. A few years later, we were on LG and in game threads with moments like “Kobe to Shaq!!!” locking LG up with critical errors. A lot of miles and millions of posts since then…
It’s too bad Kobe can’t end his career in the playoffs, but at least he’ll end it on the court and on his feet. I’m glad he made it all the way through the season to this night. Enjoy every minute of it.
So one final game thread with Kobe Bryant…

Can we please get a W....Tired of all these L's, we need to send our legend out on a high.
Jazz is playing for a playoff spot so it will be hard to get a win... Also we have that mind numbing $hit for brains arm folding idiot Byron Scott as our coach. He should be fired right before tip off

They might not be. If Houston wins, they are in - and the Rockets tip off 2.5 hours before Utah.

Haha I never thought of Kobe while listening to the end. Nice.

It's bittersweet. I'm so glad that this awful season is coming to an end. And I'm super excited/nervous for the draft lottery/draft and the upcoming free agency period. Can't wait to see what changes are made to this team within the next several months, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the youth on our squad develop with another summer of training.
But an idol of mine, a guy who I've looked up to since I was 7 years old, and my favorite athlete ever, is going to be playing his final game ever. Surreal. I can't believe it's so close to being over.
Thank you Kobe. It's been a privilege to be a fan of yours.
I'am glad Kobe made it to the end of the season. That's one positive. I hope he can come out with a bang and a win.
Man, the last game of Bryant. (bleep).
Kobe will have a reverse baseline dunk out of the tripple threat in this game. Book it.
Would love to see Kobe get a dunk or multiple dunks in the game. And no All Star BS defense (bleep) hopefully either, I hate that nonsense. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny
I just hope the rest of the guys give their best effort to try to get Kobe a win. Just play hard, win or lose. I just want to see a good game. It'd be brutal to see us get blown out. _________________ Good Laker book I recommend, "The Biggest What-If's in Lakers History" http://www.amazon.com/Biggest-What-Ifs-Angeles-History-ebook/dp/B00BB3OEC0

Hope so too. _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman
