This MFer seems like the lovechild of Donald Trump and Bernie Madoff.

Quote:
George Santos allegedly took more than $3,000 from a disabled veteran who was raising money to pay for his dog’s surgery, according to Patch on Tuesday.

Per the report, disabled Navy veteran Richard Osthoff was raising money for his dog Sapphire back in 2016 when he was connected to Friends of Pets United — the organization that Santos led under the name of Anthony Devolder (a video recently emerged of the New York politician introducing himself as “Anthony Devolder” at a pro-Trump LGBTQ event).

After Santos and Osthoff connected, Santos — who is currently facing criminal investigations for lying about his qualifications during his run for congress — allegedly helped the veteran raise $3,000 on GoFundMe, deleted the fundraiser, and later disappeared with the money. While Santos claimed Friends of Pets United was a tax-exempt organization that he founded in 2013, the IRS could not find a record of a registered charity under that name, according to the New York Times.

“He stopped answering my texts and calls,” Osthoff told the outlet. (The fundraiser was unable to be located in web archives by Patch.)

Sharing screenshots of his Facebook posts on the matter, Osthoff explained that his dog died in 2017 without access to the life-saving treatment it needed, and that he was unable to afford euthanasia and cremation. “I had to panhandle. It was one of the most degrading things I ever had to do,” the veteran said.

To make matters worse, this vet was living in a tent in an abandoned chicken coop on the side of a highway in Jersey.

The 1750’s aren’t far behind, then they won’t even have to pretend they care about the Constitution.

Watching MSNBC. They're reporting how the Justices aren't getting along. Is this good or bad for the country? Has anyone ever seen this much discordance in the Court?

(Trump's DOJ nemesis indicted presidents, mafia before taking job deciding Trump indictment)

Quote:
Feared from warzones to Congress, special counsel Jack Smith is now leading two Trump investigations. In this special report, MSNBC Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber shows you how Trump’s DOJ nemesis has prosecuted the mafia, police, politicians and even dictators. You will see rare footage of Jack Smith and highlights from his big wins like the Giuliani NYPD case and a big loss in the John Edwards trial. Melber reports on Smith saying there is no “expiration date on accountability” and what that could mean in his probes of Trump. Part one of this special report is also available online.

Quote:
As the U.S. faces ongoing political turmoil and a surge in civic participation and voter turnout, MSNBC anchor Ari Melber marks a rare milestone in TV news -- a billion streams for “The Beat with Ari Melber.” The milestone is a “notable feat for a cable news program,” as CNN’s Reliable Sources reports. MSNBC marks the occasion with a highlight reel of the show’s five years on air. (This is an excerpt of the segment that aired.)

The Young Turks

(Abortion Pill Providers Sharing Personal Data with Google And It Could Get You Arrested)

Quote:
Some websites that sell abortion pills are sharing a ton of sensitive data with Google. Ana Kasparian discusses on The Young Turks.

"Online pharmacies that sell abortion pills are sharing sensitive data with Google and other third parties, which may allow law enforcement to prosecute those who use the medications to end their pregnancies, a ProPublica analysis has found.

Using a tool created by the Markup, a nonprofit tech-journalism newsroom, ProPublica ran checks on 11 online pharmacies that sell abortion medication to reveal the web tracking technology they use. Late last year and in early January, ProPublica found web trackers on the sites of at least nine online pharmacies that provide pills by mail: Abortion Ease, BestAbortionPill.com, PrivacyPillRX, PillsOnlineRX, Secure Abortion Pills, AbortionRx, Generic Abortion Pills, Abortion Privacy and Online Abortion Pill Rx."

Add economic terrorism to this new House’s achievement list

Quote:
The agency anticipates beginning to sell existing investments and suspending reinvestments of the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund and the Postal Service Retiree Health Benefits Fund. Also, it will suspend the reinvestment of a government securities fund of the Federal Employees Retirement System Thrift Savings Plan.

[…]

Roy, a Texas Republican who is one of the key players in the standoff over McCarthy's speakership, cautioned that the contours of the proposal are still being worked out, noting there are several different versions of a payment prioritization plan circulating inside the House GOP.

But choosing to pay one set of obligations over another could spark legal challenges, as well as political and ethical quandaries. For instance, lawmakers would have to decide which to pay first -- Social Security monthly payments to the tens of millions of senior citizens and Americans with disabilities, salaries of federal workers and the military or the interest on US debt to a multitude of investors, many of them foreign.

The debt ceiling needs to be removed. Period.

Just from today's twitter feed. To sum up, GOP wants to transfer massive amount of wealth from the poor and middle class to the wealthy, inflict punishment on transgender people, ban teaching of black history, ban all COVID-19 public health mandates, sabotage national security by filling homeland security committee with duplicitous traitors, continue to cover up Trump crimes, continued attempt to destroy all legal institutions in ongoing attempt to cover up and get away with crime. And that's in addition to hold the debt ceiling and financial stability of the country hostage so they can gut Social Security and Medicare.

Quote:
Kevin McCarthy has proposed a vote on a proposal called the Fair Tax, which would abolish the current federal income tax and replace it with a 30% national sales tax. 30 percent.

Quote:
Republicans are now trying to shift taxes from the wealthy to the middle class by imposing a 30% national sales tax on everything you buy— groceries, cars, homes, health care, tuition. They’re calling it the “Fair Tax Act” because they think taxes on the wealthy are unfair.

Kevin McCarthy would rather see our country and the world economy be destroyed than lose his “power”. That’s why he’s beholden to the Taliban 20 and he doesn’t care how much pain and suffering he causes.

The implications of that also go way beyond the impact on low income and middle class tax implications. Such a move would be crippling to the economy, because it reduce consumer spending to only absolutely essential items. Far too may people would lose the "luxury" of purchasing anything beyond that, pretty much decimating all kinds of dealing in goods and services.
