New York apparently has a rather arcane rape law on its books. To meet the definition of rape requires penetration with a penis. Fingers or foreign objects don't qualify -- they fall under aggravated sexual assault. She testified that she didn't know whether it was his penis or finger (!), thus the finding for the defendant on rape. |

But who says he's unelectable? Republikkkans will still vote for him, including GOP women. He's still a hero to the christian right.
He already said in 2016:

I'm sure she will do a few fact checks and challenge him so that CNN can say that they engaged him on his lies, but it'll be impossible correct the hundreds of lies he will tell during that hour. He will bully Collins, he will take control of the whole thing, he will spread misinformation and disinformation, and he will achieve his objective.
But CNN thinks the ratings will be big, and that's all that counts.
Shame on them.

With this stacked audience, it's not even a "town hall." It's a Trump/GOP primary rally. Even calling it a town hall is propaganda. There will be no tough questions from the "general public" which is usually what a town hall is. What was already disgraceful is even worse. |
