Gordon Heyward didn't either. Good chance they leave their respective teams now. |

Hayward can leave. Paul George cannot leave. He's under contract. |

Yeah but if he makes it next year then he'll get 200m from the pacers and we can't compete with that |

Sign Hayward outright and trade for George with buy low chips (i.e. Clarkson and #28). George just has to tell other teams he wont resign with them and Pacers will be forced to take what they can get. |

He won't. That Pacers team isn't getting THAT much better and he missed the final forward spot by 40+ votes...a huge margin. Butler/Dray will likely be on the 3rd team again next year or Anthony Davis being reclassified as a "Forward" will bump one out. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

He can still get the DPE next season so I doubt he will force anything. The Pacers are a different story. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

If he can't make an all NBA team - why would you spent anything on him? |

PG13 will fake an injury early in the 17/18 season to save his career for the lakers. _________________ substance over style |

KAT didn't make the all-NBA team too. Would you spend anything on him? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

PG13 was 40 something votes away from Butler (who had 102 points total). He has quite the gap to make up. Oh, and Anthony Davis will be classified as a "forward" next year, meaning either KD/Kahwai/Lebron/Giannis likely fall to the 3rd team, which is Dray/Jimmy now.
Dubious PG13 makes the all NBA team next year and I think the Pacers know it's over. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Half a bag and an unprotected box of Twinkies in 2020. |

indy just can't take that risk. to wait till next may end. so indy doesn't really care what PG wants. |

Also, the Pacers aren't going to wait around and not acquire assets for George and hope he's voted to the all NBA team a couple months before NBA free agency begins in 2018. That's why this all NBA vote was the big one.
With all the Laker rumors wonder what any team will offer for potentially a rental. Slippery slope for Indy. _________________ 17 time World Champions |

I would have put Klay and or CP3 on that team over Demar/Isaiah. |

Blame it one the player's union for allowing media types to decide who is worthy of the superstar contracts |

It's another BS layer the league imposes to prevent super teams from forming, but these votes are totally subjective and I agree, a bad idea in general. _________________ 17 time World Champions |
