Hearing from
@nba
peeps
@KingJames
is the top of the
@Lakers
list to trade the 39 year old. Pelinka is looking for the right team to dance with and is close to a suitor Lbj and AD both out tonight.

He called Kawhi to the clippers before it happened take it with a grain of salt. LOL

The guy is a clipper reporter…

BS reporting.
No one even sniffing this report. Not one other, more legit reporters, has said a thing..
Not real.
Move on.

He did report Lebron going to the Cavs apparently. He also reported Lebron going to the Lakers.

But yeah def a Clipper reporter. The Clippers fans say he's legit xD

Again, no one else reporting and I am sure his previous apparent “BREAKING NEWS” was probably hinted by other reporters at the time.
Without anyone legit saying anything with a name as huge as Lebron, tells me it’s completely BS.

Possible teams- bucks, sixers, Miami, Cavs
First 2 will label lebron as ring chaser(not sure on the embiid injury)
Last 2 are not definite contenders.
If lebron wants to be traded, I am all for it, but I just don’t think the lakers would trade him without him requesting it.

Doesn’t seem like this guy is about clicks.

He was correct on 3 pretty big occasions.

Lebron already has a label as a ring chaser. But at his age, I doubt he catches much heat for going somewhere else. If he wants to win another ring, he’s gonna have to fully take a back seat an embrace a supporting role.

The PR spin could easily be “both Lakers and Lebron have decided it’s best for both parties moving on from eachother.” Make it seem they’re doing so right by eachother

Like the 10th time we have posted this link.
No one else legit has reported squat.
No one.
Zilch.
Nada.
I think it’s a clicks report.
Until someone legit posts a rumor, I call it a bs post.

Before the game, on TNT Pregame, Shaq said something like "Lakers are gonna be able to play free and not watch LeBron dribble for 15 seconds every possession"

Pretty accurate lol

Unlike Kawhi and KD, he's never gonna be a guy who works off ball, then catch and shoots off of pindowns.

So that makes him playing alongside ball dominant, playmaking guards a little more complicated. The offense is always gonna devolve into "your turn or my turn" to a certain degree.

Just saw that too! If true it would a huge bombshell!

Lakers Get:
Evan Mobley
Jarrett Allen
Donovan Mitchell

Cleveland Gets:
LeBron James
Taurean Prince

Do it Rob!!

That should have been the case all year. But LeBron has to get past his mentality and realize he shouldn't be the primary ball handler anymore. It's not just for the benefit of the team but for him as well as it allows him to conserve his energy for bursts late.

I’d take it if offered 😂

Yup, after tonight, we don't need him. Trade him for something worth a damn and we can just watch young guys play free basketball. Simple as that. No reason to win tonight's game via expectations but because our guys played like a team we got something out of it. We already have the record of a rebuilding team, let's actually act like it instead of false expectations.

Lebron puts up a lot of empty numbers. High usage rate. Doesn’t get downhill enough because he’s lost athleticism. Also only plays on one end of the court. There’s a reason this team outside the 2020 season has been .500ish with old Lebron.

Why trading for Murray or Lavine is foolish. Those guys are not going to flourish playing with Lebron

Bottom line is that we need AD and our other guys. We don't need Lebron. Lebron is an incredible athlete, one of the best to ever play basketball, and a good man in general, I'd suspect. But there's something about him that sucks the life out of his teammates. Maybe it's not his fault, I don't know. I am not a Lebron hater. I just really feel this Lakers team, with only AD and the role players, is a better team than when Lebron plays.

And took us right back out of it. He's not an asset to this team on the floor, is a distraction off the floor and generally doesn't seem to give a damn about the Lakers. As a fan of the Lakers, that basically means to me he doesn't deserve to wear the jersey anymore and should go pound sand wherever he wants to as long as it isn't here. I'm not here to watch him stat pad or preen about like a peacock anytime he actually makes a play. The tide of opinion is clearly turning on LeBron (go outside the walls of these forums and you'll see it all over, and even here as well) and I'm all for it.

I'm ready for a new chapter for the Laker franchise and I'd imagine a majority of the fan base is as well. And I certainly am not going to apologize for it.

Relevance by selling tickets and winning a bubble championship aided by a multiple month layoff. Let's look at the team under Lebron

2019- 37-45, incredible 8 games under .500, blame youth who all got dealt
2020 - 52-19, covid title. Yes it counts and the Lakers were actually very good, but the layoff and neutral court takes away from title and benefitted his old body
2021- 42-30, play in team, got hurt, lost in first round, whatever, injury excuse year
2022- 33-49, westbrook, unmitigated disaster
2023- 43-39, bad team most of year til trade, run to WCF after play in, swept in WCF
2024- 25-25, definition of mediocre

Outside the 2020 season, the Lakers are 180-188 during the "Lebron era." Bleow .500. Let that sink in.

Yeah that doesn’t sound exciting at all and to me the Kobe situation and it’s tragedy gave the team that extra motivation to bring a title to the Lakers, no I’m not disrespecting the accomplishment, but ever since that title, the Lakers have had a bunch of hit and misses and this year it’s looking like there gonna either make the play in or completely fall out with GSW and HOU breathing on there neck

IMO: The buck stops at the top; the FO basically failed by not keeping a few good pieces that would have allowed for continuity beyond one season. Vogel should have been retained too.

If it was just a random twitter rumor, Rich Paul wouldn't be asked to speak on it.

Pretty good for retirement tour age and all the injuries. If this was the case if we had prime Lebron, then this would suck.
