Classic night at Staples! Wound up on the court again, and sat next to Terrell Owens. He was ragging on Kwame pretty hard - I told him don't laugh too hard, he makes $8MM a year - TO was PISSED (knew that would get him). Then I told him he should put on a jersey - he had to be better than most of the current laker squad. He was like, you're not kidding!
Later, I asked him if he would mind playing catch with Kwame an hour a week - hoping his hands would wear off. he laughed pretty hard, and said if Kwame pays me, sure!
Fun night. Except for how awful we looked. Wow. glad we won, but one of the most boring games I have ever seen. |

The Utes play some ugly, grind it out bball that's for sure.
We should sign TO just to teach Kwame how to catch the ball. |

Yes, he stayed till the end. He was there with a pretty girl, but I don;t think it was his woman - we had some good laughs about how the Laker girls are not hot at all up close.

fair enough - favorite moment of the night: TO yelling at the ref "you guys are worse than the superbowl refs!" |

Yeah, Kwame's primary weakness was on full display in this game, but he got 8 rebounds, two blocks, and two steals despite zero points. Not far off the Ben Wallace-type numbers his coach encouraged him to pursue.
It wasn't a great game for Kwame. He needs work. He will really need to work on his hands this summer. Maybe he can improve there. But overall, I'm not all down on him. He does bring something positive to the table. I don't think ragging on him is really very productive for him or the team. I'd leave that to his coaches.
Given TO's history as a distraction to his team and a semi-waste of incredible talent, he shouldn't be mouthing off so much. But then again, that's what he does better than anything else. _________________ PGP Fgrpnt: 5906 0722 DB5F 5692 CAB1 F93A 04F8 2220 EBBF 18AA |

T.O. would make this Lakers roster, and I'm being absolutely serious. He can ball! |

We should invite him and Spree to camp next year, and say only one of them will have a roster spot, wait for a murder case. _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com
