If Lonzo can't get his act together, there's a higher probability that there won't be any Ball kids playing for the Lakers in 3 years then there is a possibility that all 3 will be. _________________ Never argue with a fool - listeners can't tell you apart

Maybe that's Lavar's strategy. Tank his son's stock so far that the Lakers would be the only team willing to take them. I mean if they're talented I'd take them...
If he's tanking their stock with other teams, he's probably tanking it with the Lakers as well.
Teams might be a little hesitant to take a Ball kid, but I don't see these concerns causing them to drop 10 slots or anything dramatic.
And who knows -- by the time the other Ball kids are eligible. who's to say we'll even have Lonzo anymore.

Lavar needs to STFU and disappear. The enforcement of the media not being able to interview guests of players at games is the first shot fired in his abolishment. By years end i bet he is banished from Staples, and any laker related event. _________________ “What is 17,505”

Rather than specifically ban Lavar, the Lakers would probably just implement rules that apply to all players, such as saying family members who accompanied played on media day needed to stay in the green room. Hard to imagine them banning him from Staples unless he did something in the arena that would cause anyone to be banned.

Yep, good point. _________________ Lakers need to build a freaking team !
Classy, considering what Embiid's been saying about him.
Then again, this is just who LaVar is, he knows what's for entertainment and you see how he is with Embiid here. THAT is who LaVar is. He's just who he is but yeah, great video. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Maybe Lavar can do some recruiting for us. Bring Embiid to LA.

LiAngelo, not in a heartbeat, LaMelo has potential, but none of these kids are elite defenders and I even question whether I want them at UCLA.
I don't think Lonzo was an elite defender at Chino Hills either -- that didn't match the style of play there -- but he has turned out to be a great defender in the NBA. It's hard to judge a kids' defensive potential when he is only 16 and plays in that kind of offense.
Tbh I'm looking forward to seeing how Melo does overseas, since folks saying he's the best Ball brother already
overseas might just be what the doctor ordered for young melo. since we all know he's a scoring pg. or basically a ball hogging pg that can score.
he can pass very well. so its not like some guys at pg that cant pass that well they're just small enough to play the position.
at least overseas in some leagues he will have to really hone in his fundamentals. ball movement, etc. that will do him great if he gets to the nba on any team.

LaVar is believing his own BS and has gone off the deep end.
His kids can't just go overseas without some parental support at their young ages. LaMelo has already shown that he can be a stupid kid when left on his own.
If LaVar goes overseas to support his kids that might not be a bad thing.
I hope things work out but I am afraid the story is not going to end well for those 2 kids of his.

Imagine having a dad that cared so much about you being successful, I wish I had that. I'll bet you many of the current NBA players would love having such an awesome dad. Dude isn't perfect and he does go over the top with the media, but everybody knows it's a goof.
Guy is jawing with the president...he has brought a lot of attention to the franchise, despite the uneven play from Lonzo...and in the end, he's just a guy who loves basketball and his kids and is doing his best. He can be annoying, but that's better than being a bad father, not being there or trying to see how much he can extract personally from the situation financially.
The thing that a lot of people don't want to admit...he's right about most of what he says when he is serious about making a point.

Maybe he loves his sons and wants the best for them; maybe he sees his kids as products to market. Without question he is profiting from them personally or at least trying to; don't see how anyone can believe otherwise.
Ultimately, will his antics have a a positive or negative impact on his kids' lives? Time will tell.
