Man, I'm just reminded of people saying the Nets were odds on favorites to win the title a couple of years ago.

How things can change.

At the end of the day, wouldn't be surprised if KD/Irving just come back to the Nets.

Yea this has an Aaron Rodgers feel to it. Basically will come down to if Nets owner will approve max $ on Kyrie.

AD better not be traded.
Out of KD, KI, WB and AD, AD is the one that's clutch.

Good heavens. Durant is going to be 34 next season. He has played 90 games in three years. He has almost $200M left on his contract, which runs through 2026. He's a great player, but he would be a high risk investment.

I get it. But I'd still do it.

And it would most certainly blow up in our faces. You get an offensive improvement in Durant and a defensive loss, zero first rounders to build a team around he and an older James, and very shaky injury + culture fit with Durant. So you win nothing and deplete the cupboard even further, and you're saddled until more than halfway through the decade.

I hope people realize who Kevin Durant is.. a killer on the court and a magnificent player... till this day the Blazers franchise has been haunted because they ended up going with Oden at #1

This. AD for KD shouldn't be thought about. KD is too old, often injured, large contract, and looked awful in the post season.

Agree. No to KD, especially if it's mean AD.
Unless AD is hurt, then I take back what I said.
But hoping AD is healthy for the next 5 years.

LeBron master plan isn’t Kyrie … it’s to create disfunction and chaos in the Nets front office so KD will come to LA

KD is older than Westbrook tho

Comparing Westbrook at any conjecture to KD makes you lose credibility

Hopefully AD is not hurt. Unfortunately, this is a Rob type of move. This trade would set the franchise back in a big way.

Kyrie to LA feels more probable than that DeRozan S&T, but that's not saying much.

I told y'all that Harden package form the Nets could pay off. 7 years is a long time to control a teams draft when the stars are in their 30's and one of them already has ACL/leg injuries.
