If AD keeps playing aggressive on both ends, we get a healthy Lebron and Dlo can stay on the floor, I like our chances against anyone. _________________ Music is my medicine |

That's a ring if that happens. _________________ Previously LBJ23 |

Indeed. They are as strong as ever when healthy, so it’s only a question of them actually being…well…that. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Yeah this really creates some possible good matchups for us in potential playoffs. I like that lineup of guys for a 7 game series |

If we run it back next season, we will have the depth to keep LeBron at around 32 minutes a game, which, at least in theory, would reduce his risk of getting injured.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: this current roster, with a full training camp and enough good health, could win the world championship next season. Maybe we'll need to replace Malik Beasley with a 3-and-D wing, but we should have everything else we need to compete for the chip. |

So yeah, that's bad.

AD was in facilitator mode when the double came. 5 assists today, and could have had double digits if the Lakers didn't miss 23 3's. Missing that many 3's doesn't help your defense out either |

I mean it was when he was out of the game that the bulls did their damage. _________________ 💜💛 🏆 👀 🍖 #18!!! |

Yep.
Dude made the right bball plays, but his guys weren’t knocking em down. Imho the reason the offense is so up and down when AD is the focal point (either calling his own number or drawing the double and distributing it from the block), is cause we trying really hard to emphasize that side of the court in utilizing him. But it’s the wrong approach.
AD at his fundamental core is a defensive player. He values that side of the ball greatly. That’s where we need to prioritize in exploiting him. And if we’re gonna do that, you can’t have him play the rim protector role. He’s gotta be out on the wings where his mobility and length can really make a difference.
For as much as we want to champion Vando, dude was a team low -27 tonight and Zach had his way in scoring. It’s becoming frighteningly obvious that he’s not THE answer to our perimeter defense. He’s had a few good games, but his bad ones are ridiculously lopsided in terms of net negative impact while on the floor.
And folks are also championing our team defense since the trade deadline. I wouldn’t say that necessarily the roster upgrades either. Rui’s minutes been inconsistent, Vando’s been hit or miss, Beas ain’t it and DLo/Mo have largely been unavailable. So our inflated defensive metrics have solely been due to
AD’s brilliance on that end combined with our charmin soft schedule since early February (most teams we have faced have been sub-.500 and just like us, not fully healthy).
AD was in foul trouble today and a Chicago laid a near 120 piece on us. Could you imagine where our defense would have been without the big fella.
If you want to get back to a title contender, please ADdress the defense. Till then, we pretenders. _________________ Not familiar with the salary cap/CBA rules & how it impacts our Lakers?

AD took a game off since LeBron returned. Hopefully, the "real" AD will be back on Wednesday after saying Pat Bev could "come and try" to knock the Lakers out of the playoffs right before laying an egg at home. |

It would not matter if you were Shaq and your coach put Reaves on Lavine, then put Lonnie and Troy at 3/4 and went with the you contest everything model. Hell he stayed in foul trouble because the coach refused size on the court. And even when he had 4 the coach wouldn’t use a timeout when he had 5 of them to sub him out and stop play.
But really AD and Bron didn’t lose the game. The second quarter start where you had Denis, Bron, and AD sitting on the bench and the Reaves unit got blasted lost it. They then doubled down with it to start the fourth for some reason.
Reaves Beasley Walker Vando Gabriel is the biggest wtf lineup twice against Lavine and Derozan |

AD should be treated as first option by Ham. Not second, not third and no matter if LeBron plays or not. LeBron will figure out his place. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Incredible that this far in, the coaching staff still hasn't figured out what to do when AD gets doubled, or how to get him the ball when he's fronted/covered.
Very rudimentary stuff they are doing with respect to that. Almost as if collectively, the coaches say "so much for AD, let's just let our guards chuck shots." _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |
