Obviously.. it's a bad team. Two of their interior starters aren't playing.
How would most teams look defensively with their two best interior players not playing?
How would our record look without AD, and Dwight? Or McGee. |

It looks like Zion won't be ready this to month. Next week will be the projected 8 week mark for his return but he's still not practicing.
The Pels gave the Sixers a good run last night but came up a little short.
They employed the Hack-a-Ben strategy the Celts tried the previous night and it almost worked. The last 2-3 minutes of the game seemed like it took a half hour.
Lonzo was actually attacking the paint last night although he needs a lot of work on that part of his game. I guess the benching was a message to stop settling for so many threes, especially because 3P% continues to drop. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Having no Zion allowed Ingram to be the main focal point of New Orleans.
The idea that when Zion returns, Ingram will somehow be the same in terms of production is kind of crazy...... |

What about his spacing?
What you think Zion going to be camping around the perimeter? |

Ingram shoots 3's now boss, you do know that right? He scores from all over the floor. Also scores and reads well on PnR action. |

I didn't see the game but @home against the Magic is a game that was winnable. The Pels have one more home game and then four straight road games before closing out the year at home in back to backs against the Pacers and Rockets. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Pelicans are the worst team in the western conference.
The idea that people had them as potential playoff team is crazy...... Yes, zion is injured, however, the Pelicans are just a bad team overall with good talent.
It's the complete opposite of the Miami Heat.
Team needs to make big trades |

We will find out if Zion can be a long term healthy player, after that, they need to make a decision about if they want to pay Ingram the big bucks. Then they need to get really lucky and hit a homerun with their high lottery pick. Otherwise, they are just the South's version of the Sacramento Kings. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

There’s a real chance that they catch Memphis at the rate they are going. Add Zion and work him in and they could move up to second or third in their division. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Unless somithing dramatic happens, they will pay Brandon, as any team would do considering the season is having as a 22 y.o. |

Hayes has grown a lot this year. He's looked really good of late. 18 pts on 8 shots. 10 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 steal. |

You could make an argument that if Zion lives up to his talent, the Pelicans will have three players better than the Kings best player. _________________ Under New Management |

Sick as a dog. Hoping Pelicans smash the Clippers. Even get to watch Zubac play for around 18 minutes, so it will be a fun game to watch. |

that was a nice pull up 3 by Zo at the end of the half, quick release. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

That was so quick. Right in his defender's face. He didn't even have a chance to react |

Most of the Pelican games I have seen end this way. They compete, maybe take the lead, then give it away at the end. Very common with young teams. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |
