Vogel really started Matthews over Harrell with no C? |
Trez has been pretty clear he prefers coming off the bench |
I get it but we clearly have no bigs left... But Vogel could have started anyone but Matthews tho. |

21pts on 8/12 shooting with 2 turnovers ...... and he's guarding Chris freaking Paul! |
First half meh...second half...
|
He doesn’t make the players around him better it’s a simple as that at the end of the game he fills up a box score but we’re down by 10 or more |
Right ...... I'm sure you would have Ricky Rubio instead. There's only one Chris Paul and he's on Phoenix man, get real.
He's not a $30M/year player that is supposed to do it all for us. He's probably the best scoring point guard we've had since Fisher in his prime, and he's tenacious ...... incredible on ball defence.
We already have LBJ and AD on our team. We cannot squeeze Jamal Murray, Chris Paul or James Harden into the mix. Schro is an excellent compliment to this team. |
He’s not the main problem |

Not a horrible effort, but we can definitely play better.
Vogel will make some adjustments, which will give us a better shot at beating NOP.
Hopefully Gasol will be back for that one too. |

My feeling is that the Lakers are willing to dangle KCP/AC/THT right now.. I don’t think DS and Trezz get moved unless something good comes up. |

Not sure about that if they have a 14+ point lead with just a couple minutes to go and the other team is without any of its stars |
It was tacky as (bleep), and typical of the perennial loser franchise the Suns. _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood. |

If they plan on extending DS (I disagree) then you definitely have to shop either AC or THT. We won’t be able to afford all three. I’d pair one of them with KCP and maybe McKinnie |

given how erratic KCP has been throughout his Laker's career, you may be correct.
personally, I think if THT shot just a little better from 3pt land, we'd be starting him instead of KCP - and KCP would be tradeable.
yeah, THT isn't as good a defender as KCP yet - but he's improving in that arena every game. _________________ LBJ + AD = More rings

Was that Suns announcers on NBAtv? So positive and complimentary on both teams (except for Wes), not the typical homer announcer, kinda nice to listen
Dust this one off, move on to next game. Kuz need to be 20+ with Trez and DS |

I would rather keep THT over Kuz and Dennis...straight up.
They may help us more this year, but THT will become so much better than either of these scrubs once his 3 ball starts falling. _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood. |

Suns win 111-94
As odd as it sounds: Game was closer than the final score for most of the game, but at the same time just never felt in reach.
Lakers were competitive for much of the game except a couple runs by the Suns where they extended the lead to 14, and then in last couple minutes of the game, stretched it even further. Lakers had several attacks on the Suns lead, getting within about 7 and a chance to close it to 5 or 4...but would just have a series of bad possessions, and Suns eventually stretch lead again. But most of the game the Lakers were floating between being down by 8 or 12.
Then the Suns, much like the Hawks, seemed to hit timely run-killing shots, even if covered.
In the end, not enough fire power. DS, after a slow first half, really had a couple nice runs in the second half. Trez was also fairly active. THT had some moments, but was not efficient.
Kuz and KCP were dissapointing. Combined 3-12 from 3 (combined they took about half the Lakers 3's). Alot of them open shots, just missing them.
Shrug. Not much else to say. This will be a difficult stretch. Team is now really reliant on its 3 ball to hit, since LBJ cant cover up bad 3 nights with easy drives to the bucket, which has been hit or miss all year. |

Why can’t we afford all 3? Trezz is most likely gone, we need DS’ salary for any big trades. I doubt AC gets much money elsewhere, and if someone offers him 10 mil, we let him walk. |

Welp.
I basically agree with what DFish is saying. Role players got moved out of their roles. If they were generational star players to begin with they wouldn’t be role players. So they’ll adjust and get better at not having the stars there as time goes on, but in general it’s just going to be difficult point blank.
Here’s hoping it’s not too too much longer without LBJ and AD. |

I read somewhere that Dallas has a lot of money and will be looking for a defensive guard. AC would be perfect there and he’s a Texas guy. A lineup with him providing defense alongside Doncic would be nice. I definitely could see him walking |
