They still have a shot. If they make the playoffs, I guarantee, they won't win the championship, but they are least will take a game off Phoenix when the series is 3 games to none

I’m totally convinced our Lakers did not want to fight for a play in tourney position after this crunch time performance 1000%

Lebron with the terrible lob pass attempt to AD when he could of easily bullied to the rim and got the two.

Lack of defensive intensity at the end besides AD and Stanley.

I don’t know why most of us including myself tonight chose to put up with this misery of the false hope this team will go hard. Tonight I was fooled AGAIN mainly because of AD’s return.

Then Russ plays like shhhhhhh no f’n surprise 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Not happening.

I am willing to bet this team will take a loss on a trade that gets Westbrook off of it I agree that LeBron and A.D. will still be here

At most it's the end of Westbrook's time as a Laker. That's about it.

We’ll see

I honestly didn't follow the draft implications because it doesn't matter (we don't have the pick anyway)...But, it does feel pretty shtty that the Pelicans beating us the last couple times helps ensure they keep our pick (i.e. top-10 protected this year). What an f'ing trainwreck of an organization.

I think Vogels trying to help find some one to play d on McCollum. But that wasn't the solution.

Lakers can beat OkC and a resting Phoenix. Just need one more win and they’ll finish one game ahead of San Antonio who’ll only beat Portland twice. Not worried …. Yet

Why?

How can you not be. Garbage ending with no heart, no hustle, and no defense for the last 4 mins of the game.

I caught LBJ and West jogging back on defense with the season on the line

I wanna know the justification of playing Avery Bradley that many minutes in this game whenever he was virtually a DNP for weeks I want to know why monk was allowed to stay in the game whenever he was obviously having a bad night in a game that we had to half meanwhile we kept players on the bench that have been consistently good for us all year

Luckily, I have given up on the Lakers several games ago, so losses like this don't upset me. Still, there are things that need to be noted:

1. Lebron James is not a star that can be relied upon to close games.
2. AD continues to both get numbers and disappoint the hell out of you, in the same game.
3. This season's roll players suck hard compared to last season. I swear, in games like this, either Caruso, KCP, or Kuz would have made a big play to swing the game towards the Lakers. This season?
4. Good teams play at their best when it counts. Lakers are not a good team.
5. When we have to struggle to beat a g-damned Pelican team, when we are at home, after already losing to them a few games ago, and trying to get into the g-damn play in, with Lebron, AD and Westbrook playing...and we lose? Man, it's just time for Cancun. Don't even fight it anymore.
