Yea I get his a rookie, but this guy just seem to just toss things out there hoping that Lebron will make it work.
Bryant has been shelf late in the game. Could have helped tonight with the Kings smaller bigs. |
TB was pretty garbage on defense tonight.
I agree though..our lineups are bad.
Ham also doesnβt understand the concept of offense/defense subs late in games |
I think TB has earned to see if he can finish some games at times. It just seems like Ham is quick to shelf him, if he's not having a good game. But does not give him another opportunity to see if he can redeem himself. |

That would make him a worse coach. Closing with Russ is something he's getting right. |

Disagree.

In the last 5 minutes of the 4th + OT, with a -5/+5 score margin the Lakers have a 103 ortg (-20.87 net rtg) with Westbrook and LeBron on. With Westbrook off that jumps to 127.27 (+4.20 net rtg) with the same parameters. Stop closing with him. |

The point of the coach is to adjust when necessary, to bench players when they are (bleep) and to put good rotations in place. Ham is not doing any of that. Absolutely clueless coach. Don't have nothing against him as a person. Seems nice. As a coach complete and utter trash. But I don't blame him. Lakers FO hired him. He was never for that position anyway. |

Mr. Ham is not horrible, but he's not great either. I have him in the same category as a Luke Walton caliber head coach. Problem is, we won't move the needled with a Luke Walton caliber head coach, so what can we expect for the next 4 years? AD is constantly hurt. Lebron is getting older. Pelinka is still lurking about. Our head coach is mediocre at best. |

Offered 3 years to Ty Lue and 4 years to a rookie coach

For what it's worth, I think he's a pretty good coach. We've actually been competitive against good teams even though our roster is laughable. If we had Luke Walton, we might not have 10 wins yet. _________________ Internet Argument Resolved |

Need a coach to cater to Russ instead of their two superstars. |

Canβt challenge a non-call.
But Ham has had some horrible decision making in close games and it has cost us. Heβs clearly got some good coaching chops given how competitive he has us playing with an injured and flawed roster, but his rookie game management skills have destroyed us. The good news is he has room and time to grow. The bad news is that doesnβt help us this season. |

Kudos to Coach Ham!
He's taken some bumps and bruises but this was, mos def, one of his better coaching performance of the season. |

One thing I'll say, the team has been in games.
They play hard and not many blowouts.
7-4 the last 11, even though it seems worse cuz of the last few losses haha _________________ ππ π π π #18!!! |

So possibly 10-1 if we didn't get shaft by the refs on those 3 close games. |

Potentially.
Which is crazy. But hopefully it evens out throughout the year. I think Dennis got away with a foul on the steal. So hopefully more to come. _________________ ππ π π π #18!!! |

Lying ass. |
Played Lebron the whole 4th quarter again tonight.

Ham and the team are figuring things out. Way too many squandered wins this year but the players deserve blame for that too. When you have three guys who can score at the basket and get whistles at an elite level (plus theyβll have two more once AD and Reaves come back) there should never be an empty possession down the stretch. They do make timely threes at times but when they attack, theyβre going to get easy scores and theyβre going to get to the line a LOT.
They also know that no team is ever going to stay hot against them or put them away. No matter who theyβre playing or what the score is, the opponents are not going to close the door. As long as they stay focused and do their thing, they can win every game. |
