I don't expect Max is ready for high leverage playoff minutes yet. But just being with the team through this experience is going to help him improve all the same. He is seeing first hand, both in practice and prep sessions, and in game action exactly what it's going to take to get to a playoff level.

Looking forward to how he shows up in October.

Good job by Max in garbage time. 6 min. 6 points (3-3), 2 reb. 2 asts. He made one pass that was awesome. Kid is gonna be good.

He has obviously been putting in work…he looks very comfortable out there and one of his biggest issues was finishing at the rim. He did that 3 times last night and looked good doing it. Can’t wait to see what he’s got in summer league…unless we pick someone better at 17 he will probably be in the rotation next year

As I think about it… I would not be surprised if he gets a short stint to save legs on the guard rotation and to mix it up on opponent game plan. Like the Lonnie sub last night. Go in, be smart, and play good D.
