DDV >>> Schro/LW4 imo

Except in the playoffs where they both outplayed him and out defended him to send him home. He’s not better than Denis especially not in fourth quarters or as a fill in starter if Russell, Reaves, or Bron miss games

The Lakers didn't beat the Warriors because Dennis and LW4 were better than DDV. I like Dennis a lot and would like him back, but we're going to most likely need to get past the Nuggets next year and I'd rather DDV guard Murray than Schro.

I'd love a guard rotation of Russell/Schro and Reaves/DDV but if we can only choose one, I'd rather have the guy with size who can space for LeBron.

LW4 doesn't factor into the conversation. If he wants to come back on a vet min, by all means. He's not worth more than that.

I would easily take all 3, but Lonnie isn’t a vet min by any means. Schro didn’t even get as badly roasted. Hell you can point to game 3 where he slowed Murray and then Ham started Vando in the third anyhow and let him cook again.

I would easily like to let Beasley and Troy walk and then have a reserve perimeter of Denis, DDV, and Lonnie … I think he’s going to be a knick though with Brunson and Hart

I recognize Lonnie as a positive contributor to most any team, as a versatile scorer. But, I'm not high on bringing him back, when looking at our roster projection.

PG- DLo, Jalen
SG- Reaves, Christie, Hodge
SF- Vando, Lewis
PF- LeBron, Rui, Fudge
C- AD, Bamba, Castleton

Granted, DLo/Reaves/Rui/Bamba are not signed, yet. But, that's why it's a projection. Some of those guys (Hodge, Fudge, Castleton) may only get time in the G League. But, I expect Jalen and Lewis to get some playing time. Unless they just look completely lost/raw.

Given all that, where's the room for Lonnie. I doubt he wants to be part of a loaded backcourt, where he's not considered a key piece. His playing time would most likely be sporadic. That would not be conducive to him showcasing his game.

Unless Lonnie gets some guarantees from Ham (which I highly doubt), he's mostly likely going somewhere else for a more prominent role.

I wonder if it's 100% official yet. Woike and Buha have been all over everything all day today and neither have said anything about Lonnie yet that I can find. EDIT - Didn't see it from Lakers Nation either. Hmm 🤔

Hope LW4 gets some real playing time anywhere he goes. He's shown a lot of growth last year

Bummed we couldn't keep him (not surprised just a lil bummed), glad to hear he landed in a good spot. Best of luck with the Nets, Lonnie!

Happy for Lonnie because there is minutes there without Mills and Curry.

LWIV is a class act. Good luck to Lonnie; I hope he thrives in Brooklyn.

Wish he would have gotten more than the minimum but hopefully he gets more consistent PT there. He's got some competition even on the bench (Cam Thomas, DSJ).

Vet min, huh? I wonder if the Lakers didn’t want him back or if he preferred to play where he thought he could get more minutes.

I'll never forget Game 4, when he made a believer out of Steph Curry.
