There's people on here that post things like Trae for filler, one first, and one swap, or Mikal Bridges for Reaves/Vincent/JFS/Protected 1st, or Brandon Ingram for DLO/Hachimura. IG is not the only one. This board is littered with posters who commonly post horrendous trade proposals regularly. |

I think Fox becomes available next season and would love him on the Lakers, but AD should only be traded for picks, swaps, and young talent. At this stage of our teams lifecycle we won't get back equal value if we want to contend. |

You are correct that a C #1 need. Claxton is young, big, and pretty good. I like the fit. But how is he remotely attainable?
Let's do better this offseason IG and how about post suggestions with merit or even financially possible? |

2 guys i would keep an eye on for potential sign and trade targets this offseason for the Lakers - Paul George or Klay Thompson
Paul george is pretty tricky since he'll probably cost us a bunch of assets but klay should be pretty gettable
I'm no cap expert so dont even know if its possible to go after a possible 3rd max like PG but wow hed be a great fit with AD and Bron

Duuude!!! Say it loud man! Rebounding and defense is the biggest issue (along with turnovers), yet some want to trade depth for no defense when scoring isn’t the issue.

Rob? Is that you? You already have Max so you don’t have to trade for him. You can have Dlo/Reaves/Max over Trae. Trae may look like an upgrade offensively but how would he score as a 3rd option vs 1st like he is now? And would it be enough as a 3rd option…even with his playmaking…to overcome the poor defense? Would it be worth the cost that is so high it limits upgrading the team to sacrifice depth?
Westbrook went from scoring title type points to averaging 17ppg as the 3rd option on the Lakers. Sure, Trae is a better 3pt shooter but probably worse defensively and rebounding. Trae looks more like another Westbrook type mistake, not a solution. Rob, please man, let someone that knows what they are doing help you construct a roster.
