| Embiid is a beast. Probably has some voters reconsidering after this game. Still ways to go in the season, but it could be the same 1a/1b situation with Jokic. |

Winning the scoring title last year with a team that had a better record and better seed than Jokic means imo Embid was robbed of MVP. The Joker is a beast for sure and absolutely won it the year before...but Embid should have been the MVP last year...in the end tho for me faulk anyone not wearing a Laker jersey.
Switching topics tho...man it's tough watching Randle right now knowing the team gave him up for nothing after a season where he led the team in scoring and rebounding, had to play for the Lakers for $5.6mil, when it needed a center after letting Lopez, Zubac, Thomas Bryant go as well...then trying Michael Beasley and Kuzma at center. Randle had spent more time a the 5 that year than the 4 but obviously teams would prefer him at the 4. In fairness, the team seemed to never really believe in Jules it seemed as Walton with maybe Magic was screwing him around.

Let's not forget Royce Oneal was acquired by the Nets for a FRP...just saw him hit a three and he's playing good defense this game.
Makes you wonder what the Laker FRPs are really worth. I never buy into the "we need a star/impact player" narrative...a reasonable upgrade at SF/PF/C could put the Lakers in contention. With Hachi perhaps a C or SF should be targeted and if WB is traded the team would need a PG as well.

3 games with refs admitting incorrect calls that could have lead to Lakers win and would have given them a good position in the standing? Isn't it too many? smh
They should investigate this cause if not they're gonna continue doing it and will just admit it with no consequences. |

| Much to everyone's surprise, Nunn is actually serviceable on the Wizards. He fits most of their floor spacing schemes. Considering their needs at the moment, it might not have been such a bad deal for them. |
