Playing Suns early when they are most vulnerable makes sense too. Any team that gets out of West will have to go through Suns/Warriors (If Wiggins returns this season).

Only Mavs gonna offer anything close to 49 M per year Kyrie wants. I think Kyrie will end up re-signing there and Doncic will ask for a trade in a year or two.

Dallas has given up 76 points at halftime — to the Miami Heat, who are the only NBA team averaging less than 110 points a game this season.
Dallas is a clusterf---. They may have to keep Kyrie just in terms of asset management, but it would be an example of the sunk cost fallacy.

Kyrie isn't a star. Dude clearly got carried by Lebron for his lone championship. Lebron made a lot of players look good. Kidd is probably going to get scapegoated though.

not luckily. the mavs just dont defend. they are an elite offensive team though. should surround luka and kyrie with 3&D guys if they wanna compete. |
