I really wanted a Phoenix - Golden State first round series.

BI should request a trade. Pels will always be a poverty franchise that can't provide help for their superstars. Same reason AD wanted out.

Yeah I feel bad for BI honestly

Why? He’s played 45 games this year, 55 last, 61 and 62 before that. He’s still not a positive defensive player. And the Pelicans have spent money around him actually. He’s been less available than AD was for them and has a higher payroll

I've accepted that most stars are going to load manage at least 20 games a season. If he can get to the 60 game mark, it would be great. However a concern BI's availability is, it's clear he's been playing at or close to superstar level, without a legitimate 2nd or 3rd option. If CJ is your 2nd option, you are toast. Not sure if he's even a third option. It's similar to what's happening with Luka in Dallas. They can't surround him with help, and the media just has to create a rift between those players and then the trade demands should surface. Perfect opportunity for some team to nab a superstar.

So if Wolves win, Minnesota visits us on Tuesday, yes?

I feel Wolves with Towns, Edwards, Conley, Gobert match up better with us than the Pels. I think Pels were the easier play in match up. But the Wolves are having major chemistry issues, so there's that.

Yup. This is where we're gonna need Bamba/Thompson to play. Wenyen too skinny/small against them.

Would rather play the T-Wolves.

Ant is dangerous but they're a mess inside and out. They seem to falling at the seams now.

Golden State is an easy win for the Lakers though. It’s better for them to stick around and beat the Kings.

Nope, Davis historically has killed Gobert in a lot of their matchups.

Warriors won the final week, clinching the valued 6th seed and laughing at the Clippers who play the Suns, and the Lakers who have to go through the playin

Who would have thought the playin race would be this exciting

The weird thing about the Wolves, they have had every reason imaginable to implode, but they have been able to stay above .500. They had the Gobert trade. They had DLO shipped out for an older PG. KAT's been injured most of the season. They made many moves you'd guess would give them a big set back. Even today's game they should have lost, especially with all the chaos going on with Gobert, McDaniels.

Yet they won, and they have Edwards/KAT. I would say we should win, but I don't feel they are going to go easy They have the weapons to bother a team like us. But who knows what Wolves show up. At their best. they're very dangerous.

The biggest win for them is I expect Oakland to floor Sacramento .. they will have their Oracle fan contingent there

Gobert update:
Quote:
Minnesota President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly on Rudy Gobert: “We made the decision to send Rudy Gobert home after the incident in the second quarter. His behavior on the bench was unacceptable and we will continue handling the situation internally.”

I hope they suspend him for 1 game lol.

The Suns were competitive in their last 2 games without any of their major players, which were meaningless to them and very meaningful to the 2 teams they faced.

They're going to be TOUGH, and are probably the favorites in the West in my eyes.

You take avoiding the play-in every time, but I'm not sad they're on the opposite side of the Western playoff bracket if the Lakers can get the 7th seed.
