Darvin Ham on what's most important for the two rookies:

"Establish a competitive tone and buy into what we're doing defensively."

I find it interesting that Jalen and max are both 6’4.25 inches tall but routinely get called 6’6. However, maxwell measured at 6’6.25 inches at the combine and people are calling him 6’7. Wouldn’t that make him 6’8 by NBA standards lol

Anyways I’m really excited about our young players. I think they all have a really good chance to be lakers for a long time. They all seem like good kids that work hard. Jalen seems like he may be playing as soon as next season. He seems way more mature and poised than the the other two.

Maxwell Lewis can shoot the lights out , but there are conflicting reports about his defense. I’ve read that he can lock up when he wants to, but she was a turnstile during the season. If he can really lock up and knock down open jumpers he could play asap! He was much bigger than most college guards. He will be guarding guys his own size and bigger in the nba. Maybe that will make it easier to stay infront of guys?
