There isn't any time to waste. He's going to have to start producing with some consistency or Ham has to move him to the bench. |

Beasley is on his way to seemingly not being a Laker next season. Some of us could see this coming given his history of being wildly inconsistent with his shooting, so it's not necessarily the so-called Lakers shooting curse.
I would love a 3-and-D guy in his place at the starting 2 spot next season. That's probably the last piece to the puzzle for us if we keep the rest of this team together. |

There's a reason Beasley has been a bench player the majority of his career. He's KCP without the defense, and ANY TIME he puts the ball on the floor is a Turnover 8 out of 10 times. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I've seen enough.
First it was no LBJ.
Then no DLO.
DLO is back and Beas is getting good looks...but missing.
Start Reaves. I think there is too much pressure for Beas to start right now. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

He has a good game once in every 5-7 games. He is due. |

Really hard to judge his value until he plays more games with LeBron. Without LeBron in the lineup his skillset is nit needed as much. |

Not really because his skillset is primarily shooting the rock, and he has been streaky as hell. And he offers very little in other areas. Not good. |

At this point, that is not a luxury we can wait for. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

The time to send him to the bench was literally when he was traded here. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

I think Beas realized during the game that he can create an easy shot at the rim for AD, and he realized that while bricking a runner at the rim. Beas can get to the rim, especially after a hard close out to stop his shot, and then get something easy for AD at the rim.
That would be great for him and for AD. I would really love to see that from him, because it might be something he can add into his game now |

I was willing to be patient with his shooting but what has been disappointing is his utter lack of vision and handles for even an off-the-ball player. People compare him to KCP but KCP was more situationally aware and just seemed more .. poised while Beas seems to always be pressing. I really hope this is temporary, this team needs an elite shooter. |

Malik Beasley needs to hit the open threes he gets and he gets plenty.
He needs to NEVER put the ball on the floor to dribble because it more often than not goes bad. He has the JJ Redick rule.. that if you make him dribble twice it's going to be a turnover. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I'm with you on this in spirit, Austin's waaaay better, but I'd rather keep Beasley starting just as the idea of being a threat but keep reducing his minutes and give them to Austin. For how the team is structured, Austin's such a killer and energizing force off the bench that he usually swings the game at some point. He's basically starting at this point, he's just coming off the bench
The idea of Beasley going off could still keep defenses honest, and I don't think moving him to the bench improves the team much. But I could see Austin being a little less effective as a starter for this team since he's sharing more opportunities with the starters, and being less of that sucker punch off the bench. There's overlap with what he and DLO do. Maybe that makes sense _________________ Austin Reaves
