Vando has a hx of injuries to his lower extremities, I hope he can recover. He’s probably glad he didn’t follow Patrick Beverley’s advice, on waiting to sign a new contract.

Darvin Ham on if there are any updates on Jarred Vanderbilt this week: “No new updates.”

When asked if he knows when there will be an update, Ham said, “We’ll see. He had a good workout today. So we’ll see.”

He a specialist on the roster, when it comes to point-of-attack defense.

If we run into a guy like Jamal Murray in the playoffs.
By a large margin, he's the best guy on our roster to guard him.

How so? Lol

Do you even know the situation? He decided against surgery so he would have a chance to come back. It was always going to be close and uncertain.

What do you think the medical staff is lacking? In your professional medical opinion of course.

I mean the optimist and me wants to say yes. But they haven't said anything that suggests it would be true. Darvin Ham said he had a good individual workout the other day but as far as I'm aware he hasn't done any basketball activities/contact of any kind/etc. At least not that anyone said. So you know the optimistic outlook is that he has and they just haven't said anything. But yeah it's hard to say.

I think we see him this series, game's 4-7 are about 2 weeks away. I don't see why he doesn't get cleared for contact in the next 10 days.

If the Lakers end up in a 1st rd series vs Denver a healthy Jarred would somehow help in limiting Murray.
Murray has owned the Lakers and if Jarred can somehow give the Lakers good minutes on defense they may keep the series close and eke out a series win.

This guy is a must have for us to beat DEN. I hope they are just being cautious with him.

We are going overboard with him being a must have. He will help against some teams. He was being benched starting the Warriors series and more in the Denver series.

Yes, he played against Denver, we saw what happened. Since he has not participated in any of the ramping up exercises I would be surprised to see him play this playoffs.

He was getting benched last year because of his offense. Small sample but he looked much improved this season. He's an almost perfect connector between Bron/AD and his defense and hustle really make a huge difference on this team.

If he needs surgery, he might as well get it now to be ready for camp next season.
