Mo working out at the lakers facility. They should have him work out against bigs from the draft like Lively. We’ll see what happens 06/29.

Nice to see Mo working on his post game. I would keep and develop him.

So would I, I don’t see a better prospect for the projected cost and the biggest area of need on the team which is backup C.

You don't risk another team getting him. You ride out this season and see if he plays up to it. If he does, look to extend him in the off-season. If not his value will have dropped anyway.

I agree here, FA market for Cs is very thin, I don't see many options better than him. If needed, it's a very tradeable contract.

Dave McMenamin @mcten
The Lakers will waive Mo Bamba and not pick up the team option on Malik Beasley today, sources told ESPN. LAL plans to stay in contact with both players’ representatives throughout free agency and could find different deal structures for Bamba and/or Beasley’s return to LA

If the Lakers want Bamba back, then I want him back. My biggest concern was they saw something objectionable in practice that we aren't privy too. But if they like him here, I would love to bring him back. Bamba on BAE + BB on MLE is an optimal offseason for me. At that point you're just looking for depth pieces.

I don't see why Bamba would want to come back. He's going to be a spot backup for AD, and based on last season, he was not in Ham's plans all that much.

Bamba is interested in returning, but would he be fine with taking the vet minimum?

Would be bummed to see him go, but we need another big badly.

Welp guess he was not interested in waiting around until the Lakers "circled back" Lol. I thought that was hilarious when I heard that.

Congrats on finding a new gig Mo.

I wish him well. Played a grand total of 88 minutes as a Laker. Has to be one of the shortest and most underwhelming post-trade stints ever.

He was very underwhelming. Lack of motor and energy seems to be the common thread that follows him wherever he goes.

Which makes him a perfect addition for the Sixers.
