Pelinka on fire!!! NBA radio just said rumor is the lakers are working on a trade with Det but they’re saying they don’t know what the Lakers are trading since they trade Pat Bev _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

When I saw the Bryant trade, at first my reaction was...I was only kidding when I said we need more guards....then I saw the picks coming back....now it makes sense.
Mo deal.
I'll say this. Losing KCP, Kuz etc for Westbrook sure stung as hell. But the FO is doing alot to make up for that.
Kudos. _________________ "One thing I admire about Kuzma is his unwavering confidence. He truly has no idea that he’s not as good as he thinks." - Killer_Z

KD isn’t the same player he was, no way he helps them. They are not any better than the finals team against Bucks! _________________ My Laker squad.

Is Bamba for Bryant an upgrade overall? Or is this just something they had to do because Bryant was unhappy with his role?
Bryant was efficient offensively. Definitely a good guy and presence on and off the court. Defensively, though, teams knew they could just go right at the rim with him and score easily. I am not sure he could stay on the floor in the playoffs when that gets exposed even more. Bamba gives us an upgrade defensively (most centers would), but can also space the floor, as well. Also, and no small thing, he has a non-guaranteed deal, so we've got some flexibility there this offseason, which we didn't with Bryant (or Bev). It just works better on multiple levels for where we are at.
Loved TB for his offense and his spirit but his defense sucked. Mo is an overall upgrade in an area where we needed it the most, .. DEFENSE!
He's deservedly due for a nice raise somewhere. We weren't going to be able to pay Bryant enough to re-sign anyway. Good luck to him.
Essentially it was 2 2nds and Stan for Mo (THT via 2020 2nd in buying in for 2019 draft / another 2nd w/PatB _________________ Not familiar with the salary cap/CBA rules & how it impacts our Lakers?
