I didn't think we could go 7-3 in our last 10 (before the last game), so I am going with an optimistic 5-2.

The Lakers are 12-7 since the trade, and that's despite injuries to LeBron (4 GP), AD (17 GP), and DLo (11 GP). Those three only played together in 1.25 games of the 19 total.

12-7 is a 63% winning percentage. If the Lakers continue this pace, they should finish 4-3 or 5-2.

However, they should challenge themselves to run the table, or finish 6-1 at worst.

Lakers are averaging 25 assists and 14 TOV per game. This is recipe for disaster.

Those 2 losses to Houston and Dallas still bother me. We could have been in top six instead of 1/2 game from being out of play in.

Assuming Ham will continue his good rotation like in the 2nd half of the pelicans game I think this can be done. Also assuming Bron and AD will be healthy.

10-5 in this schedule

12-6 with the New guys

3-0 with the New guys and with Bron

4 wins out of 8 games to finish the season @ 0.500

10-6 in this schedule

12-7 with the New guys

3-1 with the New guys and with Bron

I predicted a split with Bulls, they lost today, next game a must win.

13-7 with the New guys

4-1 with the New guys and with Bron

3-0 with Bron, AD, DLo playing

If we take care of business and everyone is healthy there is no reason to lose any of those games except maybe Phoenix. If seeding is locked I imagine Suns would rest at least KD.

This is the NBA and this is the Lakers so no game is guaranteed but 5-0 isn’t ridiculous.

Will it be enough to get the 6th seed?

44-38 gets 6 seed imo. But one loss and I don’t think they do better than 7th.

Suns will play them on 2nd day of b2b. I think they will not risk KD.

Then no reason we can't go 5-0 as long as injuries stay away.

We have a B2B ourselves agains the Jazz and Clippers.

Depending on standings and what is possible I think it’s time to gamble and go all out and play everyone in that second game. If Clips drop even one more game we can get into 6 seed by beating them outright and going 5-0. That would give us significant time off to rest during play in tournament.

Clips last 4 games

Pels
Lakers
Blazers
Suns

We need to win out. We might still get 6th. But Clips have to lose 2 games.

Suns would have nothing to play for in the last game, so they might rest guys most likely. Lakers and NOP will go 100%

Ok we "fixed" the loss to the Bulls and it was against a competitor which is a bonus. But we need to beat the Rockets to stay that step ahead. Last 3 games at home we should go for wins, but its not good that the clippers will be in a back to back after Utah away. Either way we should finish the season 4-1

Can be 5-7 seed if they win out depending on how LAC and GS do, GS would have to run the table to stay ahead of us, and LAC needs to lose one more time besides the lakers game. If we go 4-1 or 3-2x we have to hope Minny loses one more game somewhere (they have a really easy schedule) to keep the 7th seed

If we win out we will give them one of those 2 losses. But it seems like if they beat the Pelicans they are gonna win out. 😔

How about the Warriors? They seem to have a tougher schedule but we don’t play them. They have to lose 2 games for us to catch them if we win all of ours. Seems like a long shot.

We own the tiebreaker, so they only need to lose 1 game if we win out.

Gotta look up now rather than worry about teams below us (8th, 9th etc). Get into playoff mode now, grab 6th seed to avoid play-in which will give the vets much needed rest. Rockets, Jazz (twice) has nothing to play for. Lakers should be beating if they are in playoffs mindset. Suns would have probably clinched 4th spot by the time they play Lakers and KD might be rested due to b2b. Clippers are without PG.

I feel Minny was going to be the most intense game given what was at stake for both teams. If we play with that kind of intensity vs Suns and Clippers, 5-0 is possible. And obviously can't go easy on teams that we should beat like Rokets and Jazz twice.

So I am rooting for Clippers to lose tomorrow.
